The Yellow was an OK hostel...but really it felt like renting a bed in a shared hotel room. The rooms were very sparse and uncomfortable. Having the rolling drawers underneath bunk beds is the worst idea ever..there was no possible way to get to your stuff with out waking up the other person in the bunk. The showers and bathrooms were also really hard to use because, again, there was nowhere to hang your clothes or get ready comfortably. The bar is nice, but very hard to get to know people

This was a great hostel. Very close to the main train station. Wi-fi in the room is not the greatest but there is a bar downstairs where it's strong and you can even rent a iPad. Though breakfast isn't included, the discounted breakfast from the restaurant is soo good. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Rome.

Youthful and party atmosphere. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Overall, the place has a very good and well thought-of concept. Bar is very happening too.

Yellow is a really fun hostel, helpful staff, really good location. (Super good restaurant next door)! They upgraded us to a private room when we got there and the bar was so much fun. Love it definitely would stay there again!

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm room, it was very small however the big lock up storage metal cages under the beds were fantastic. The shower was nice and hot with an excellent water flow but there was no where to hang your towel or clothes to get dressed, as all the hooks were broken off. This made it slightly akward when we wanted to have showers and not have our room mates see us in the nudie! Staff were friendly and the waffles that i had from their breakfast menu were delicious.

If you stay in a private room, this hostel is awesome! The bar is really fun, it's right next to the train station so it's easy to catch the metro anywhere. The dorms are, however, just terrible. They only give you sheets, the room is sweltering hot and stuffy, and the bunkbeds are so rickety that when the person above you shifts, it feels like the bed will fall apart. Stay here in the private rooms, not the dorms!

Great location, great hostel bar to hang out and meet people. Only two complaints are that there is no kitchen and the water in the shower sometimes blast scalding hot water no matter how you adjust it.

The Yellow is probably one of the better Hostels in Rome. Its located 4 short blocks from the main train station Termini and is also a short walk from the metro. Has a nice bar and they give you one free drink when you check in. Sadly the wifi is only available in the bar but this also means there is more people down there to meet. :) Only issue I had was the cleaning person left my door open one of the days i was there, luckily nothing was stolen.

This was a great place to hang out and see Rome. It is really close to the train station, and the beer pong in the basement was epic. They were also really great about extending my stay when the train strike shut down all transportation. Thank you yellow!

The Yellow is a great place to stay. A great location near the train station. Lockers under the bed that fit you backpack. Although it doesn't have a real common room or kitchen it had a great bar downstairs with cheap breakfast where it's easy to meet people.

They have an awesome bar in the hostel, and the rooms and bathrooms are big and clean! I would definitely recommend this place for someone who wants to go out, drink and meet a lot of people! The only problem at all is that the wifi only works in the bar, and if you need the internet it's quite annoying to stay in a very noisy place while using it. Talking via skype was impossible!

This hostel was mediochre.Good: close to the train & metro &there was a decent cheap breakfast. Bad: rooms felt barren & smelled bad. Plus my locker under the bunk couldn't be pulled out while someone was on the bottom bunk; awkward when you're the top bunk person & need to get your things- had to wake the person up & have them get off so I could get at my stuff to check out. Not much happening in the bar at night. Also, the showers were gross & the water itself smelled like sewage. No hot water

It's a noisy hostel. I've stayed before and was aware, but because of the partying atmosphere, you should plan to be up until 2, or expect to be woken up by others returning. Even if you're in a private room... the noise carries.

During my 4 nites stay (3rd floor), the noises were the usual ones, not any worse or better than what is expected from hostels/shared dorm. Mobile phone & wi-fi receptions very weak in rooms . Take the stairs, the lift is tiny - no way for a 180* turnaround :-) even without any luggage! En suite toilet and shower were cleaned each day. Hostel bar was packed, every evening - cheap vodka & diet cokes during happy hours. 2 euro 50c for a double!!! Breakfasts was okay, not exactly value for money

I have nothing special to say. We were looking for an hostel with a good atmosphere and it was. So it was one of the most clean hostel that we done, and we've traveled a lot. So that was the most important for us. Nice team, smiling and enjoying time.
