This is not a hostel for people who travel alone or want to make new friends in a normal common room. 1st,because there is no common room; and 2nd,the people always stay in the bar, always in big groups,so its difficult to start a conversation with someone(and music is always loudly);breakfast is very expensive. But is too easy to reach from the station Roma Termini, the locker is a little bit small but very safe, the main points of the city are well explained in the dashboard;good and clean beds.

Definitely not the cheapest hostel but definitely the best hostel to stay at in Rome. I did the pub crawl in Rome which was terrible when compared the party at the bar at the Yellow. The staff here is really cool and keep the party going. The bar has such a good party many people not staying at the hostel will stay at the bar. I would however reccomend staying at the hostel as you will so many more people that will be at the bar. I would highly reccomend this hostel it was lots of fun.

Place was very clean and staff was very nice. Anything we needed, they helped us out and they were very organized with their events. Great event : the party bus! A must. Felt very safe during our stay.

I booked into this hostel on a whim. It may have been the best decision of my whole trip. This hostel was fun, friendly and kinda crazy! There was a party every night downstairs but the bedrooms were quiet at night. The staff couldnt be more helpful if they tried and the other travellers were just incredible it made my holiday extra special. Thank you Yellow!

A little hike to major sites but nothing a backpacker can't handle. Nothing much happening in term of nightlife in the near area but that doesn't matter because all the nightlife you need is at the hostel. Great to meet travelers and enjoy your time in Rome.

LOVED IT. Fantastic atmosphere. easy to meet people, easy to sleep with no noise. good food at the bar. will stay there again without a doubt!

Perfect Stay in this Hostel. The Yellow Bar is really a difference maker, even it's probably not very characteristic, food-wise expecially, but then again, everything has very honest prices and tastes great, especially the beer! I met so many nice people there, the bar is really the place you wanna go if you travel alone, you might end up sitting next someone from anywhere in the world, and everybody is totally in the right mood for friendship!

Such a great vibe!! Loved every night that I stayed there. Great staff and the night life was awesome!! Definitely would go back :)

Awesome place!! Travelling alone and met so many friends. Wifi gets weak in the night due to so many people down at the bar but that's okay. Had so much fun! Love Jamie the cute bartender

EVERYONE loves the Yellow, I wasn't really impressed though. But maybe I just tried to do too much in too few days in Rome. The bar is fun, pretty standard mess of drunkenness. Some drinks are fairly cheap, beer is not one of them. It's impossible to sleep at any point in the night if you are in the building above the bar unless passed out drunk. The staff at the bar and restaurant were not friendly. Easy to meet people if you are outgoing because nobody ever seems to leave the bar area.

It was a great hostel! Met a lot of people and staff was very up beat and were always smiling. Not really the best hostel to stay at if you don't want to party every night you're there, there's not much to do if you don't want to spend money on drinks or the party bus but hey that's the night life so bring ear plugs and a sleeping mask. Also the food downstairs is SO good so stuff your face there. Really close to the train station and underground so that was a plus.

This is a large party hostel that feels a little impersonal at times. The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, but the facilities in the girls dorms did not work during my stay (hair dries, hot water), and there were two showers/bathrooms to three rooms of girls staying. The hostel is close to the central station and a little walk to the main sites, so otherwise it was an okay stay.

The staff are great and friendly although service gets really slow at peak hours. The location is a bit far from the tourist attractions when you plan on walking but pretty close to termini station. The lobby, bar/breakfast area is a great place to hang out and meet people and it's generally a younger crowd which makes for a great atmosphere. There's karaoke night!! I really enjoyed my stay here even though it was only one night. I felt safe, welcome, and there's cheap gelato next door!!

AC would be a plus

Excellent hostel, very near Termini train station. Quite far to walk to most of the attractions but easy to get to via metro system. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is very close to Termini. Wifi was down for a day and a half while I was there. Perfect for large groups or for people who are travelling with someone. No atmosphere in the hostel as there is only a quiet area - everyone hangs out at the Yellow bar (which allows entrance to non-hostel clients as well). Bathrooms were old and not really very clean - towels by the showers were often reused even though the "cleaning sheet" has been signed. Room has one fan directed at one bed.

Amazing place, especially for young travelers who are looking to socialize and have a good time during their travels. Staff was extremely outgoing and friendly, the rooms and bathrooms felt very clean and modern. Each bed had a plug and light, which was also nice. I ended up making friends at this hostel, which was cool. The breakfast was really good, and the bar/club downstairs gets CRAZY at night. Super fun, if that's what you're looking for. Just a couple blocks from train station.

Affordable drinks, strong wifi, and clean rooms. Great hostel to party at. The only downside was it felt too much like an American party. I am traveling out of the States and want to experience Europe and it felt like a party back home. It definitely could have been there was just a bunch of Americans and Canadians during my stay.

If I hadn't been so sick, I really would have enjoyed my stay here. The staff were helpful and friendly, location was close to the train station, and the atmosphere was very social. It would be a perfect place for a single backpacker to go and meet people.

- Hostel located far outside of the main attractions. - Rude staff that was most concerned about leaving their work and to party in the evening - Expensive rooms with no AC or fans! Impossible to sleep during the summer!!
