I was in a room across the entire floor from the bathroom. It was terrible to shower and have to walk across the stair well which was freezing cold and open to the out door air.

We stayed at a private apartment for nine. It was great! We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a livingroom and a diningroom. Excellent place! We even got a cleaning lady that came every day. I would definitely recommend this place!

Really good hostel. Great location which was close to Gare De Nord. Social hostel with the bar (v cheap drinks), but not noisy in rooms if you chose to go to bed early. Staff helpful, rooms spacious with individual cage lockers underneath beds. Would definitely return!

I absolutely loved my stay at The Yellow. Great atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I loved the bar side, as you can socialise with everyone. Great location, close to everything. I had the best time :)

The Yellow is a party hostel and bar... so it's quite noisy. There's no common room, so no place to read in peace. My room was quite smelly, and the electric sockets didn't work (which the staff didn't seem to care about.) Also, the Yellow's WiFi system automatically redirects traffic to all hostel booking websites to Hostelbookers.com. I find that to be an extremely unfair business practice

Everything was great! Except one guy of the reception that was not kind with a problem that I have with the internet, but the rest, a don't have any complaint =)

That was one of the best hostels I stayed. Everything was great, except that the breakfast was expensive. But the hostel is really close to the Roma Termini station and there is a cheap market over there. The private bedroom was really great but the heater wasn't working. So the reception guy gave me a portable heater to the bedroom. And there was a TV in the bedroom but without any plugs, so they told me it was only decorative. They also have and elevator which makes everything easier.

Had a great experience at The Yellow, the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Stan made the trip. Rooms were clean, great location, etc. I think the only thing The Yellow could use to make the stay perfect is a microwave/ kettle area so that people could make some of their own stuff, but I understand you want business to go to the bar. Also, if there could be better ventilation in the club area. It was a great place to dance, but the nonsmokers suffered.

The Yellow is a really fun place to stay, especially for students. Most if not all of the guests are between 18 and 26 years old, so for a student such as myself, if was a really fun place to stay. Having the bar on the ground floor is also really convenient, especially in bad weather. My only complaint is that during out stay they lost power to our floor and another floor for some unknown reason, and couldn't get it resolved for quite a few hours. It made for a big inconvenience.

My stay at the Yellow was amazing. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Beer pong in the basement was alot of fun. I was able to meet people from all over the world. Will never forget my stay here. Definitely will stay here again when I return to Rome.

Ok let me make this clear NO WIFI IN THE DORMS. Only in the lobby and bar. Seems to be aimed at british/american tourists, beer pong room downstairs reminds me of a high school basement party. Bartenders are great and nice. Receptionists are extremely slow. My room was quite dark. Bathrooms are decent, cleaned in the mornings. But its a big hostel, seems like anyone can bring a guest and they wouldnt know. Pizzeria around the block. I think people book this place because it has 500+ reviews

The hostel is located 3 blocks from termini and about a block from the nearest metro station, from there every place in Rome is easily accesible. There's a restaurant and bar at the lobby which at night is very fun. I was there in February and it was snowing outside and the hostel bar was the place to be! The breakfasts are a little pricey but filling. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Bring your own lock for the lockers. I totally recommend it!

The hostel is very nice, but the room was cold at night, even with the heater on at max temperature.

THIS WAS THE WORST HOSTEL I HAVE STAYED EVER. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY, STAFF NOT GOOD, WE DIDNT HAVE A PLACE TO KEEP OUR LUGGAGE AND WOULDN'T RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE!! MY EXPERIENCE WAS SO BAD THAT I LEFT THE ROOM 2 HOURS AFTER THE CHECK-IN FOR STAYING IN A HOTEL MUCH BETTER AT THE SAME BUILDING FOR A SIMILAR PRICE. I HAD PAID ALREADY FOR 2 NIGHTS AND THEY EVEN DIDNT REFUND ME FOR AT LEAST ONE.

The bathroom is too short and the hostel isn\'t prepared for the winter. For example, at 10 o\'clock, someone of the staff turned of the heater. Moreover, the elevator was broken.

Staffs were quiet kind and facilities were pretty good, but we needed heaters in the room. It was freezing! Except that, the rest things of this hostel were ok.
