The Globe Backpackers is a friendly hostel offering a funky, relaxed and social environment. We are located in Kings Cross, an extremely popular area with both travellers and locals.

Kings Cross caters to people from all walks of life, close to the heart of Sydney's CBD-- and a short walk from the Opera House, Botanical Gardens or Circular Quay. It's the perpetually alive tourist enclave where you'll find a variety of bars, cafes, strip clubs, restaurants, fast food outlets, and nightclubs. Its abundant night life style, may divert some visitors however it is well policed and relatively safe and the atmosphere is friendly. Great beaches and other attractions are also within easy reach.
