The owner Sylvia is awesome, honest, friendly and helpful..recommended where to go, what to see etc and seemed like she actually cared about ur safety..

I found this to be a wonderful. The staff could not have been more friendly to us. Everyone in this little hostle seemed to bond immediatly and therefor it was a great week. Sylvia and her staff gave us great tips of where to find the best night life and recommended all the good tours. All in all a great experience and I would definatly recemmond this place to my friends.

Small (1 dorm, 1 double room) hostel in an enclosed Mew with 4 other hostels. Nice frendly front staff who provided a good city orientation. Clean rooms and bathroom. The man who usually stays there at night speaks no english. This is a very cozy hostel. With only one dorm room you really get to know the others in your room! After experiencing the multi-dorm room hostels, this was a nice change. This is a brlliant reasonable place to hav fun in the expensive Ipanema (the best place to be), the hostel itself is a good one, not the best, but u hav to see the whole thing and then u know its probably one of the Best One.
