Was onlyt there for a night so can't really comment on fun of the place. There was certainly nothing happening when we were there.
Rooms were clean, but showers were disgusting which you come to expect in a hostel, but a bit of cleaning wouldn't go astray!

still have ants everywhere, including the bathroom/shower!! cold in winter, big old building with a fireplace facing the kitchen not the lounge! free parking a bonus!

Hostel is located at the end of Liverpool St, about a 15 minute walk to the harbour. Bathrooms and kitchen are unclean and flood. To make you feel at home, there is a sign in the kitchen offering a reward for anyone who catches a RAT!! Nice.

Thankyou for your hospitality it is was great and we had an absolute blast staying at the Pickled Frog. The accommodation was excellent and the kitchen facilities wonderful. The location was exceptional as we were central to everything.
