The two best atributes of this hostel were the location in Kensington, and the small size. There are two (old) townhouses, one with dorms and one with private rooms with a combined capacity of 39 people. The staff were relaxed, accessible, and helpful when asked.

I really enjoyed my time at this hostel. The staff was friendly and they thew a free BBQ for us so we could meet everyone who was staying at the hostel. Also, the fresh baked goods available in the morning allowed me to start my day very happy. The location was also great being central right downtown and also in the middle of the very entertaining Kensington market.
Thanks very much!

Nifty little hostel in a good central location of downtown toronto. It's in the middle of like an asian market district and a little hard to spot but just follow the directions. Not the newest or cleanest hostel in the world but theres certainly no problems with it.. perfect size to meet some new faces and go out for a night or two on the town and be sure to get some free burgers every saturday

No minuses whatsoever. Nice-looking rooms, spick and span, laid back staff and atmosphere, free breakfast and not bad at that for hostel standards. Best thing about this place is the location; no stay in Toronto would be in any sense complete without visiting Kensington. And I'd say more: wouldn't be complete without spending *a lot* of time in Kensington, truly unique and inspiring. Don't think twice about this one.

Its a shame they advertise free wifi and then dont provide it. The free network seldom works. It can take hours to upload a photo. Room locks seemed flimsy. Also, I booked a four bed dorm but on one day they actually had six people in that room. Thats cheating.By itself its a cozy little hostel. Also, the staff seem slightly rude to non English speakers - I personally did not face this problem, but saw others having issues.
