Great location, less than 10 minute direct walk to Republic Square. Great prices (Yerevan is very cheap anyway). Very accommodating staff, with great English. We were double-booked but they went out of their way to help us. Small and cramped hostel however. Toilet and shower in separate rooms, which can be frustrating. Privacy not great either. Can be quite noisy as walls paper thin also. Nevertheless, free wifi though which is great and generally fine hostel overall.

If your aim is to spend a quiet time in Yerevan, then Theatre Hostel is a great place for you to rest your head. Just be aware that there are no lockers (but a front desk attendant is always there) and the showers never heat up.

I liked this Hostel very much! Great support by the staff, recommendations. My room was entitled "Dorian Gray" and it was with an air conditioner, with a view of Yerevan TV tower, which is very beautiful at night. The Hostel has a very cozy common room which they call Platonium and a very clean kitchen. What I also liked in this Hostel is that all the rooms had some interesting decorations and names. Good luck to the young people who run this hostel!
