I´ve been stayiing in hostels for more than 10yrs and this has to be one of the best experiences. The staff are the most beautiful bunch of people. The breakfast is AWESOME! The place is super clean. Its a beautiful quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to be in the centre within 10mins walking. Its more like staying at a friends house than staying in a hostel. Oh, and free Internet!!!

This Is Lisbon Hostel was awesome! It is worth heading there for the balcony alone! And for the breakfast alone (not your usual stale bread with jam. Eggs, lovely crunchy rolls, cereal, coffee, juice...). The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. And the staff were not just helpful because they had to be. They actively went out of their way to help in planning our stay. The only negative was the showers. They were new and warm, but annoying to use. Still, stay HERE! :D

It was a really good choice. From the beggining the stuff was so friendly with us and the accomodation was very clean, comfortable and cosy. Besides, the home made dinners were incredibly delicious, the dayly tour by car offered by the hostel is a great option because of the cheap price and the nice drivers who show you the places that you want to visit and also the hostel is very well located close to the city center. I'd recommend This is Lisbon 100% :)

This hostel was fantastic! We all enjoyed it and are so glad we picked This is Lisbon to stay at. The staff was excellent and friendly and they all spoke English, which was good for us. The breakfast was good and it was cool that we all ate together. The all day tea and coffee was great as well. And we met lots of cool people from all over the world as well.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, giving us bread and cheese on arrival because they had run out of olives! we liked the mini-bar and the terrace. It is in a lovely area of Lisbon by the castle. We had a private room with en-suite, the bathroom was massive! The only problem was the thin walls - we were kept awake at night by people simply walking up and down the corridor on the noisy floorboards.

I felt very comfortabel, in a personal atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I really can recommend the place! Thank you for all, I'll try to come again;-) Moni (from Germany)

Great hostel!! When we arrived to this very charming hostel, we were welcome by their very friendly staff. We got lots of great tips on where to go and how to discover the secrets of Lisbon! The hostel is very clean, everything is new and very nicely decorated. The huge terrace makes it a wonderful place for coffee or breakfast!

"This is Lisbon Hostel" is a great deal. Totally new and very clean beds, showers and kitchen appliances, together with very nice people - both the guests and the staff - and the location make it a perfect place to stay when visiting Lisbon. Thank you for the great experience!

Very friendly staff. They had such a nice attittude. They made may stay a very nice experience. The hostel has central heating which made me feel at home :) The hostel has a terrace with an amazing view. It was a nice surprise. I had a wonderful experience at This is Lisbon hostel. The staff was very nice and friendly. In one night there was even a concert in the hostel's terrace. It was a very nice concert and specially in a terrace with view over old Town Lisbon.

it's a great hostel.the stuff is also great,always triyng to help.good breakfast.and the best thing,perfect terrace to enjoy a beer, with a great view of the city..
