The hostel was and wasn't in a good location. It was right off the harbor which as nice because it was close to all of the attractions. But it wasn't so nice because on friday and saturday night there's a bunch of drunk people making a bunch of noise. No long term parking either.The hostel was and wasn't in a good location. Nice clean place. No real common area and kitchen closes early (730P). TV in rooms may be an attraction for some. Overall, a good place and right in the midst of Queenstown.Nice clean place. Only one complaint about this place: the kitchen closes at 7:30 and you have to ask for plates. Other than that, location was excellent. My room had a view of the lake. Also ensuite bathroom. I was disgusted by this hostel, the staff attitude towards my disgust of the state of the rooms was terrible. There is no communal areas in the hotel except a kitchen that was typically unclean. Guests had to ask for crockery and cutlery everytime as it wasn't stored in the kitchen. There was also construction happening right next to my window so sleeping in or having an afternoon nap were out of the question.
