It's more of a cheap hotel than a hostel, but for the price of a double room you cant complain. It's ideal if you need quick access to the airport, 10mins by complementory shuttle or a taxi. I didn't manage to organise an airport pick up but got the shuttle back with no problem. It's about an hour into the centre of Bangkok by taxi, a cheaper option would be to go back to the airport and get the train but it's unlikely to be quick. If you're here for a stopover, great. If not go nearer town.

Convenient to airport,room is big, but the aircon is noisy. The worst thing is our morning call was missing,why??? Just stay one light for flight transfer.

The airport pickup is great when you arrive after midnight. A long way out of central Bangkok but great for the first night. Staff were very attentative when I had a problem and resolved it quickly.

As a Airport Hotel it is perfect< professional, not expensiv !

This is the perfect hotel if you are searching for something close to the airport. The free pickups to and from the airport worked well, the room is big, clean and cozy and the food tastes excellent (also a bunch of good restaurants next door). Would definitely go back.

If you want somewhere to stay near the airport, this place works just fine. They have a free minibus service to and from the airport. If you're not interested in the airport, then maybe choose a more interesting location. Rooms were fine. We had quite a few ants in ours, but when in Thailand...

I stayed at Thong Ta because I had a flight the next day and it is located close to the airport and the hotel has frequent, free transportation to and from the airport. The hotel was very clean and spacious and the rooms were beautiful. The area around Thong Ta has a bunch of small Thai restaurants, food courts, and street food. Most importantly, on the street right behind Thong Ta is a restaurant called SPICY which has the BEST CHICKEN CASHEW I had during my whole stay in Thailand!!!

Perfect place for transit travellers. Easy to rich from airport or by car. Clean full equipped rooms, even swimminf pool. I`m planning to stop there again whie moving from north to south.

Thongta did not have any record of our reservation at all which is Hostelworlds fault, but luckily they still gave us a free transfer and a lovely room. The staff were really friendly and managed to find us last minute flights to Phuket which was a great help. We were only meant to stay there for 1 night but because they were so brilliant we ended up staying there for 3 and may even go back again in the near future.

boring... and farther from the airport than expected

We were in for a surprised upon arriving at the hotel, we thought it's just another budget hotel that we had been to in other countries. Though we were not able to explore all the areas of the hotel like the spa and pool, We think the place was/is nice and clean. Rooms are also spacious and staff are client friendly. The only glitch, some of the staff doesn't speak very good English that makes us impossible to ask directions on locations wed like to visit but all the same Nice!

Good location and very clean rooms - good value for money. Would stay here for convenience to airport again.......
