Located in great street. New art lane one lane north worth a visit. Value for money - close to T Square.
A great location but the bathroom in our dorm room absolutely stank, to the point of us feeling sick. Cheap though, hopefully you don't get the room with the stinky bathroom!
Bad Hostel!ive been two months in China and that was the worst. The atmosphere is nothung special, and the staff is horrible.I went to eat and get help from Leo or 365 Hostels. They wont give you straight answers,if theil regard you at all. The rooms are ok but they havnt cleaned them during the three days I was there. I can recommend Leo hostel instead.
My booking was cancelled one day before my trip. No refund has been made till now. please take appropriate action

Overall it was good. The pile of dirt and broken tiles in the washroom didn't help on the cleanliness side but beds were clean and rooms were overall clean. Cheap beer/drinks and good menu/music makes it a cool place to hang out. Location is great as well. Staff is a hit or miss but usually helpful.
The hostel is located at the backpackers alley in Beijing, which is 10 minutes walk from Tiananmen Square. Really in the center of the city. The rooms are maintained well, bathroom includes toilet paper and liquid soup ( rare thing in China ). Two non - Chinese are running the hostel, therefore English won't be a problem. Nonwithstanding some of the Chinese staff's English is mediocre and it would be hard to speak with them.
If you're an alcoholic with a backpack and a mobile phone, or even just an ordina garden variety traveller looking for a peaceful environment, this place is right up your alley, in this case Dazhalan Alley. past the nasty fork in the road and the big old India tree, so far East in fact, that it's pretty much West again: like China. For example, as well as a comfortable front bar, there is also a large spacious courtyard to relax in, and a very good library. Facilities are generally excellent.
Very tucked away, bit of a walk to the nearest station, but a really nice hostel. Great atmosphere and staff. Cheap beer on tap (recommended) and lots of food nearby.
chinese can not live with foreigners in this hostel. they called me to tell me before I arrive, it is like you go to the usa, and some hostels told you this hostel only take foreigners , not americans, what would you feel about that ? i dont like that.
