Very serious and commited staff. Less words more acts. Everything was ready for me when I needed it and that taking into account that my overall stay was of 21 days -25 december-4 January and 15 Jan to 25 January.

This hostel is quite nice, it's easy to find and conveniently located. The rooms are fine - facilities are not brand new but everything works. The only problem was... the lack of central heating (which is a rather common problem in China). The AC was not powerful enough to achieve a reasonable temperature of the room. I recommend bringing warm pyjamas or a sleeping bag.

Thin walls and a bit noisy, but the guest are partially to blame for that. Staff waas awesome - very helpful and knowledgable. We have already booked for another night next month. Enjoy!

I'm a Chinese and not allowed to share a dorm with foreigners! Is it discrimination?

Great location and staff. Booking excursions was easy and the Jinshanling Great Wall trip was definitely worth it. Rooms were not in the best condition- tv was broken, bathroom smelled and tiles falling off, water almost drained into the room when we showered and overall not very clean but we enjoyed our stay. They had a good American breakfast compared to other places too. Overall it was pricey for the quality ($40/night for a one bedroom and bath) but on par with most other hostels in the area

Staff were fairly helpful when organising activities (i.e. Great Wall), however, improvements could be made in terms of reliability and communications when organising the events.

Our room wouldn't lock. The dorms have one bathroom combined with a shower and we experienced quite a wait every time. However we would stay here again

Great hostel, would book it again.

The staff was extremely rude. However, the location was ideal but difficult to find at first late at night. It was pretty clean

To be fair - great location; staff were average - neither helpful nor rude. Had a cool projector to watch movies (if that's what you've come to Beijing to do). Points were lost for the mushroom soup brewing away in the toilet and therefore the damp smell surrounding it. We've put up with some dirty facilities before but this takes the fungus cake. Cleaners came and left in all of 20 secs so even putting bag on floor meant it was covered in dust. One key opened all lockers - poor security.
