Wifi connection did not work anywhere but reception. The atmosphere at this hostel was very down compared to other hostels I've stayed at around Central Europe. We were unlucky enough to have 3 very loud guys in our dorm, they drank and shouted until past 1am and got back at 6am making more noise. Almost impossible to sleep. Just an average hostel, better ones around. The location was really bad too.

Location was brilliant, really easy to find. The staff were lovely and the facilities were great. The place is huge so even if you don't have an ensuite in your room it's likely you'll be able to find a bathroom that no one else ever uses haha! We would definitely stay here again!

Had a good time at this hostel. Rooms large, beds comfortable, and lockers extra large. Had a good atmosphere about it with pool tables and such for socialisation downstairs. Bathrooms and rooms very clean. Only downside was the one washer and dryer for the entire hostel (which is very big) and the staff, who seemed kind of bummed out to be there.

Great staff! Very helpful and friendly. As an ex-convent, the facilities are very beautiful. In a rough part of town, but very close to the Berlin Wall, and we never felt unsafe in the actual hostel. Lovely place! Will definitely go again.

The morning staff (some guys) were really rude and didn't want to help us with anyhing. Asked if they had security boxes and the guy just pointed in some direction and then just looked the other way. Asked again and the same respone but annoyed. Really unwelcoming. Boring neighboorhood, would recommend the other side of Kreuzberg. No shops open at Sundays. Really crappy wifi, it died all the time and did not have a strong signal. Breakfast not included and quite expensive

We spent two beautiful summer days and nights here and can recommend it very much. Located in a quiet courtyard just 8 mins walk from Potsdamer place it's a great place from which to see so many of Berlin's landmarks. The hostel itself is enormous but so is the building. The rooms are basic but very secure, clean and ideal for a short stay. We definitely wouldn't mind coming back here again.

Nice stay. Not the best location, and bike rentals could be a bit cheaper. Super friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities. A bit expensive but could be we booked late. Would stay again.

For starters the hostel is a converted church so all of the rooms are isolated away from each other down long dimly lit hallways. The one common area is the main hall but don't expect to see people there. The church is still active and they do not allow noise after 10pm. Internet was essentially nonexistent. The rooms can get exceedingly hot and have no fans. The location might beKreuzberg but it is so far from anywhere fun. This is NOT the place to go if you: are alone or want to meet people.

Bigger hostel with a great breakfast (not included though) clean facilities, we had a private twin room that was pretty big, and the staff was helpful and friendly!

The showers could be a little bit better and the breakfast is too expensive for what it offers, but in general is has a nice ambient and a good location. I would come back due to the environment. Only wish it had a better common area. Keep improving cause the hostel is great!

Great place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and everything was well looked after. Location was pretty good, about 20 minutes on the S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz and 10 minute walk from Checkpoint Charlie. There was a main area to hang out but you could hang on your own in the room if you desired. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who was going to Berlin!

on the plus side, the location is good, 10 min walk from checkpoint Charlie and 15 from Potsdam square. Rooms are relatively spacious (I stayed in a 8-bed dorm) and clean.Bathrooms are also clean. There is a common room with billiards tables. Computers&breakfast (both for additonal charge). On the minus side, the staff was not friendly, no kitchen, not even microwave, so be prepared to eat out all the time or survive on sandwiches. Lots of corridors to walk, like a labyrith. Wifi awful in room.

This hostel was pretty cool. It's not really close to any action so to speak but it's accessible to the train. The showers and bathrooms are down the hall and were just okay. The bathrooms didn't smell too great. All-in-all it was good and I would stay here again, but I will try another hostel if I go back. No major complaints though.

Brilliantly located at a 15 minute walk from Potsdamer Platz with big comfortable rooms. Been twice now and neither times has the atmosphere been that great though, definitely not a party hostel.

I loved the set up of this place. The big open area where breakfast was served was perfect. A nice place to escape when I was awake bc of a snoring roommate! Lots of different people staying here which made it feel that all were welcome. Rooms having separate areas for shower and toilet were nice too for mornings when people had places to go. It was quiet in the rooms even when people were up playing pool late. Also being walking distance to Potsdamer Platz was great! Lots of shops and the U.

Rooms are clean, lockers in the rooms, and keycard access. Transport is fairly easy to access, but very little going on within walking distance. Atmosphere was lacking, and the communal areas made it feel sightly cliquey. Staff have cool wee cards on the desk with flags of the languages they speak on them, and were very helpful. Probably wouldn't stay here if you're looking to socialise with other travelers, fine as a cheap alternative to a hotel though.

Just a bit pricey for me. But my stay was great. Clean, comfy dorms. Nice kitchen, clean toilets and showers. Very big hostel, I'm guessing lots of big groups.
