Location is good if you're wanting to see cultural sights but not for partying. The hostel seriously lacked in atmosphere and no one really spoke to each other. The wifi is horrible and was constantly dropping out. Other than that the kitchen facilities were good and there were plenty of showers and toilets.

The hostel is fairly strict with all sorts of their rules and regulations. The atmosphere is definitely geared more towards the younger groups which is sometimes frustrating if you are an older travel (I am 22 and was traveling with 25-26 year olds). Honestly, not the best hostel experience if you're looking for something friendly and for somewhere to meet new cool people. Also, the wifi is fairly awful if you are not right in the lobby.

Nice hostel very close to the bus and s-bahn stop that brings you right into the city center. The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful. The big hall is in use as common area and includes a bar. A good base to explore Berlin!

Well, the hostel is a really good choice to spend some days in Berlin. The best thing of this hostel is that is located near the most famous monuments of the german capital, as for example Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz. On the other hand, the worst thing of this hostel is the kitchen, just because the majority of the guest are not able to clean the things that they have been used.

Hostel has a great lobby area with lots of tables and plug ins. Room itself has good sized lockers. Plug ins are limited in the room so not everybody will get one. Bathroom floors should be cleaned more frequently. Hallways seem dark and dungeon like. Recommend hostel having locks for the luggage storage area as it is in open area where can easily get stolen. Dorm beds should either be assigned or given a token that says which bed is taken to avoid confusion.

Dont expect a close-knit community, it's kinda like a backpackers hotel. Having said that, there are shower on every floor, a decent sized kitchen but only one washing machine..for five floors... All in all worth the price.

The lift is old and very slow. I could hear the noise from my neighbors. My last few nights I was unable to connect to the wifi (neither smartphone nor laptop) although I reported to the staffs.

After 2 nights in a room with a group of stupid french teenagers with no respect for other's customers, i ask a change room and that was been done. In fact, receptionists staff are all nice and helpful.

Wifi connection did not work anywhere but reception. The atmosphere at this hostel was very down compared to other hostels I've stayed at around Central Europe. We were unlucky enough to have 3 very loud guys in our dorm, they drank and shouted until past 1am and got back at 6am making more noise. Almost impossible to sleep. Just an average hostel, better ones around. The location was really bad too.

Very nice hostel in a good location in Berlin. Staff is helpful and the use of the kitchen makes stuff easier and cheaper. The usual laid back and relaxed vibe of the guests which is perfect for a city like Berlin. One thing is that the directions they give to reach the hostel from Berlin Shoenefeld Airport are not in use anymore but once you reach the airport go to the tourist info point and they'll explain the best way to get to the hostel! Definitely a good option for backpackers!

Clean, friendly, and cheap. Perfect combo for a good hostel. Don't bother asking the staff for recommendations (on food, attractions, etc) though, all they do is draw a circle on a map without any specific details or useful tips. So if the hostel does actually read this, please actually give us some good advice - some of us actually want to experience Berlin away from the tourism and you are the most knowledgable on that topic. Don't brush us aside!

Location was brilliant, really easy to find. The staff were lovely and the facilities were great. The place is huge so even if you don't have an ensuite in your room it's likely you'll be able to find a bathroom that no one else ever uses haha! We would definitely stay here again!

Had a good time at this hostel. Rooms large, beds comfortable, and lockers extra large. Had a good atmosphere about it with pool tables and such for socialisation downstairs. Bathrooms and rooms very clean. Only downside was the one washer and dryer for the entire hostel (which is very big) and the staff, who seemed kind of bummed out to be there.

Great staff! Very helpful and friendly. As an ex-convent, the facilities are very beautiful. In a rough part of town, but very close to the Berlin Wall, and we never felt unsafe in the actual hostel. Lovely place! Will definitely go again.

The morning staff (some guys) were really rude and didn't want to help us with anyhing. Asked if they had security boxes and the guy just pointed in some direction and then just looked the other way. Asked again and the same respone but annoyed. Really unwelcoming. Boring neighboorhood, would recommend the other side of Kreuzberg. No shops open at Sundays. Really crappy wifi, it died all the time and did not have a strong signal. Breakfast not included and quite expensive
