A great (massive) hostel. Great rooms, amazing beds, hot showers clean. Huge common area. Was almost too big to really meet people, but I had a great stay here.

Breakfast 5 euro extra. Rooms are nice and open and beds are comfy. Decent sized lockers to fit a backpack in, bring your own lock. Wifi reached up to our room but not most other rooms, only really fast in the reception area. Also you can hear some choirs singing in the church next door in D block which adds a bit of a Sound of Music feel to the place...

This hostel is well-located in Berlin. It is difficult to give my opinion on the proposed activities because we came during May when not lots of people were there (compared to summer). The hostel is quiet. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean. For sure a nice and cheap place to stay.

Really convenient locatiin for sight seeing. Huge hostel so the people stay ing there really cover any demographic, so that can be interesting. The staff was awesome, very cool people working there. Be nice to them, they should should be earning more appreciation than is given.

I had no problems in my stay at this hostel. The location ist excellent, near to public transportation, restaurants, clubs and the most important sightseeings of Berlin. The staff and the room were ok and althoug you have to pay 5 euros for the breakfast, it worths the price because it was very good and all you can eat.

Fairly good hostel that is clean andwalking disstancento a lot of places in Berlin but also close to the U/S bahn if needed. Breakfast is really good but is an extra €5. wifi only works at reception, and even then it doesn't cope if it's busy. The kitchen is great and normally has a feww people in there so it's a friendly environment. It can be a bit of a hike to the bathroom in the middle of the night, depending on where your room is. All round good hostel :)

The room smelled a bit funny, but maybe it was just that it was recently painted.

Such a lovely building, especially the lobby! The shower rooms are spacious and clean. Just everything in this hostel is perfect!

The facilities were really good, except for the bathroom that is not very private during the shower.

Very big Hostel (600+ beds), nothing special, but still a good place to stay. (+) Central Location close to Subway and Supermarket, pool tables, table-soccer, constantly hot showers. (-) Wifi only works in the Reception (, and in a few rooms with bad signal), kitchen not so inviting.

Great room, great size. There were only 5 of us but for some reason we got an eight bed dorm. However, I had paid a deposit to the hostel a few weeks previously - and they did not seem to understand this when I tried to explain it to them. Eventually, I gave up trying and split the cost with the people with which I was travelling. Overall, brilliant place to stay if you are lucky enough to get a huge, sound-proofed room like we did. Beds comfy; rooms clean; two bathrooms. Can't complain.

Fantastic hostel, one of my very favourites! Very clean, lots and lots of space - with a big common room and large bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms and showers everywhere so never a problem. Wonderful, friendly staff. A wonderful stay

The location and the staff are very good. However, there is no bathroom in the rooms, one is shared with the floor. The bathrooms were always dirty and full of people. Once I found a plate of pasta in the bathroom. I threw it away and it was still in the trash smelling horribly the next morning. I would definitely look for another option of accommodation when I return to Berlin, which I'd really like since the city is fantastic.

Nice and friendly hostel. A bit big with 320 beds, but their common area where they serve a nice breakfast is still very cozy. Would definitely stay there again.
