Very cool and different hostel, the aim is not to fit as many people as possible, but be different from other hostels. However the rooms are small and dark, and not much space for the luggage. The bedsheets are really nice and soft, as are the beds. Also the showers are amazing. I found it quite enoying i had to activate my room key every day, but staff is kind and helpfull. Easy to take public transport to various tourist sights including Khao San rd.
This place reminded me of a dystopian future college/prison complex. I'm a snob when it comes to design, but thought the atmosphere of the people in the place reflected it as well. They charge you double what every other hostel does for water, which sucks cause it's a little walk to 7/11. If you're into the gay or straight prostitution streets they are right around the corner, but that's not what I came for. "I don't want a massage I'm looking for a 10 baht water"
As hostels go, this place was fine but I think a few improvements could really make it stand out from the rest. The first, is the places to hang out and relax. There are chairs and benches everywhere, but they're made out of metal. PLEASE, put cushions on those hangout areas and you'll get a lot more guests enjoying the lobby which will improve the atmosphere. The second was the staff. Two of the girls were really nice, but the guys working were not helpful and had really bad attitudes.
Nice designed hostel, nice location, you can take train from the hostel to the city easily. Just my personal opinion though, it's a big hostel so there's a distance to other guests compared to small hostels. Anyways it's clean and cozy, nice staff, a/c in the room, bathroom/shower are great and 24hrs reception opens.
Nice and helpful staff, common area had a nice atmosphere and the place looks great. The room was very small and therefore hardly any place to put luggage - some others did seem more spacious with more efficient usage of the space. Beds were quite comfortable and the shower/toilet combination were alright.
It was a nice location, close to sala daeng station which is only 2 stations away from siam (centre of bangkok) where all the shopping centers (siam center, mbk, central world etc.) are located. Lots of good street food in the area and not too far to walk to the centre. The hostel has a nice style and the atmosphere is ok, not a party hostel but music in the lounge and seats where you can hang out. The dorms are quite small but i never spend much time in the hostel anyway so i dont care.
Early, your hostel used to be good, but now I think it not comfortable because the quality is poor. Don't have towel and so dark, youj ust have one down light for a room. It's danger when some one fall from high bed.
This is a very nice industrial-style hostel near the BTS station Sala Daeng. It is NOT in the Khao San Road which makes your stay a lot calmer (and cheaper). All rooms with AirCon, hot showers and fast WiFi. The young owners are extremely nice - just start a conversation with them - they will give you many non-tourist-recommendations of what to see in Bangkok and what you should better avoid. Just give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Dennis
I arrived to the hostel at 7.30 am and it was not possible to make the check-in until 1.00 pm. I know this is the policy and it is indicated on the web, but given that there were beds available it would have been nice if the staff could have made an exception.
This hostel was great. I've stayed at other hostels in Bangkok which are really similar but a lot more expensive. This was a much more reasonable price and the location was great because it was so near the silom sky train station. The only thing was, the night I was there at least, there was no real atmosphere in the communal areas.
Rooms were small and looked like someone's basement
