The resort was not in the town of Port Douglas but was beside a town shuttle bus stop. We loved walking along the beach so did not mind the location. It was close to 4 Mile Beach, an IGA store, main highway and bottle shop which was very convenient. People living at the resort were very friendly and there was a mixture of permanent and rental units. The pool was lovely but the hot tub did not work. The staff were very helpful when they were in the office. The wifi, washer and dryer were great!
