The beds weren't very comfortable, the floor in my room was in bad shape, the staff weren't very friendly (usually just texting someone when I walked through the lobby, never looking up to say hello), and while they have Internet access, they mysteriously don't have wifi. All in all, the hotel is in a decent location but really offers nothing to set it apart from a million other hotels in GZ. I left and stayed at a hostel for 1/4 the money and comparable facilities.

Nice, basic place. The staff was very friendly, and spoke basic English. The room was clean and comfortable. Directions to the hotel were lacking, but it is easy to find. Exit D out of the subway, turn right walk 2 blocks past Sun Yet Sen Memorial Hospital, up and over the elevated sidewalk. As you come down off the overpass there is a McDonalds and a big metal lion. The entrance is right past that, look for the sign. Take the elevator to the 7th floor.
