Beach is 30 mins away by motorbike. Kitchen equipment in commonroom is very very poor, but common area very nice and homey. Adrienne (owner) is friendly and willing to help, BUT be aware, she charges you unexpectedly. She let us (and another couple) in the room in the morning, but made us pay in the end. We got locked outside. She\\\\\\\'s almost never around and gave us permission to brake in the room, but charged us in the end!! Sad it had to end that wayInternet costs 8 NZD phBeach is 30 mins away by motorbike. Kitchen equipment in commonroom is very very poor, but common area very nice and homey. I loved staying at Tiare- cheapest place to stay with own room, self-contained, close to town (but not walk to the beach). I have done alot of travelling and i prefer going out to find my own fun, if you're looking for backpacker vibe this is not the place. Tiare is chilled, you'll be left to do your thing and Adrienne isn't around alot, although she's very nice and will move everyone around to maximise comfort and space. I met like-minded people, love RaroI loved staying at Tiare- cheapest place to stay with own room, self-contained, close to town (but not walk to the beach).
