This place is a bit run down but that's the case with most of Israeli hostels. Location is good, though, and live-in owner (?) is always there to help. This place is more like a shabby hotel than a hostel. No hostel/backpacker atmosphere at all. The rooms didn't seemed to be cleaned (except for the linnen) before I got there. Dust on the floor everywhere, bathroom didn't look clean at all. The smell in the lobby (also kitchen!!) was disgusting: cigarette smoke 'covered' by some vanillaflavour. Great location in center of town, comfortable beds. AC in rooms is great! The bathrooms aren't overly clean, but are fine. Kitchen also not super clean, but well supplied with appliances. I can't recommend this place. Te staff was nt friendly and you didn't get any informtion about the hostel and the town. For information, they said, I should go to the tourist information. They could do a bit more for their guests. The toilet was full with stuff = wasn't cleaned for a while.I can't recommend this place. Great location. I had originally booked for four nights. When my plans changed, I left on day early. The owner lied and said that he could not refund my money once he entered it in to his computer. THIS IS A TOTAL FABRICATION. I was ripped off one night's payment. So the moral of this story is: If you make a reservation on Hostel world and don't use all days, then you will loose your money.Great location. I had originally booked for four nights.
