The staff made a rather detached impression on me. There wasz no very welcoming atmoshere. But the hostel is very well located and reasonably clean.

It wasn't the most inviting place, and didn't have much character. It's fine if you just need a bed to sleep in. I would try to find a place with more character next time

As it says there is kitchen, but this is not fonctionnal for a heap of customers together. For instance there is an electric stove that boils water after an hour working fulltime! The manager who lives there said to me it was mostly his kitchen and he didn't want any frying stuff cause there is no fan... In Tiberias, this is the second place (first one was Aviv hostel) where a business pretends having a kitchen as in fact he was, again, tricking us!!!

Tiberius Hostel was simply a clean place to stay while passing through. Common rooms were empty, staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, in fact, at most times they were quite cold and unconversational. Breakfast was jam and toast, with choice of coffee or tea. For a more authentic sea of gallillee experience (including Tiberias), look into staying at hostels on the northern shore of the galillee. Tiberias is easily reachable by bus and does not require more then 5-6 hours anyhow.
