Better to stay at the upper floor as I was told that footsteps of the people staying on the upper floor can be heard by those staying at the lower floor.

Very nice family who will make you feel at home. Food is good and cheap and rooms have the best value for money. Loved to have dîner and breakfast in front of the mountains

Really good. It was amazing to weak up in this calm, beautiful and not crowed place (most of the people stay more in the midle of the gorge). Nice people, good food and the path to go to see the rapids is 50 m to the right when you go out from the guest house. We went for one night and decide to stay one more day. Absolutely recommendable.

Fantastic location overlooking the gorge! The family who own the place are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome from the off. They even invited us to have dinner with them, but we had already eaten. The place is basic but very good value and comfy. Good food with large portions. The highlight was the 3hr hike led by the 14yr old daughter into the centre of the gorge and at no charge. We only had to pay a few yuan to help with the upkeep of the villager-built trail. Highly recommended!!!

The driver that we engaged happened to be the owner's sibling, Lily. She even helped us to plan our routes to Shangri-La! The guest house offers a very homely environment for guests, food were tasty and suitable for foreigners. A serene place to stay after trekking in terrain Tiger Leaping Gorge!

Couldn't ask for more. Incredible value for a beautiful suite overlooking the imposing and awe-inspiring gorge. The owners were extremely friendly. From greeting us after a long journey with complimentary tea to organizing our trip back to Lijang, they were very helpful. Can't recommend this place enough.

Nice and helpful staff indeed. Very tasty food cooked by a nice friendly lady whom I forgot to ask her name. A trail, which starts 100 meters away from the guest house, is very fantastic with wonderful view. It is a nice 3-hr round trip walk. We really enjoyed the good 2 days at Tibet guest house.

Tibet Guesthouse was great. We felt at home with the friendly staff and the food was some of the best we've had in Yunnan. A lovely little patio allowed us to enjoy the stunning views however at first we were concerned at the lack of hot water as my girlfriend endured an icy session in the bathroom. After further inspection it turned out she had the colour coded hot and cold symbols mixed up so fortunately for me I experienced a blissful 10 minutes of warmth as the night began to cool off.
