Great place to stay after a long day of hiking. Very clean, friendly staff, good food, fantastic view, and a laid back atmosphere. I have nothing negative to say about my experience here. I would definitely recommend Tibetan Guesthouse to anybody.

A Nice stay for us!!! A lovely place with owners so friendly!!! Beautiful room with hot water and electric blankets, Nice view, nice cooker. All was perfect. they Have a service of bus to Lijiang and Shangri La. You can go there without any probleme as the place is very welcome.

A truly unbelievable place. Tibetan hospitality from a wonderful family, and home cooked meals which like everything here are absolutely incredible. Great location near the gorge, nestled in a tranquil valley, removed slightly and higher than some of the neighboring hostels means the only noise you hear is from guests and hosts having tea or drinks on the patio (which has an amazing view). Beautiful building, rooms, hot everything, everything you need. Must visit if you come to the gorge/Lijiang

The location is perfect, and you can pay them a bit of money to pick you up at the bottom of the gorge. Most of the staff is friendly; however, the owner is not very nice, which makes paying and those types of operations a bit less pleasant. Overall, for the money you pay to stay, it's a fine place because of the location and the fact they do offer a variety of meals throughout the day.

Clean, fantastic place. Private room was spotless. Hot shower after TLG was excellent.

The hostel rooms are very clean and the linen is perfect. The quilts are great for the cold overnight weather. Through no fault of the hostel there was no power during the first day of our stay but there was no torch or anything available and it was very dark. Also bring tissues as there is no toilet paper but there is hot water. Food was good. The hostel is quite a walk from Tina's where the bus drops you off. Ring ahead if you want a pick up as we had to walk 20 mins with suitcases.

The family was very kind and welcoming. The food is INCREDIBLE. Seriously, some of the best food I have had. Hands down the best on the trip. Real local Tibetan style food you will not find anywhere else. Just a great experience overall. They have a car ready to take you to Shangri La cheaply if you want to head there. The rooms are nice and what you need for a night. There is a path down to the middle gorge near the trail. If you don't make it by hiking (it's far) take a car to this guesthouse.
