The Tibet GH has topped my list of favourite places to visit in China! After a long day hiking the upper gorge trail it was a blessing to arrive at such a beautiful hostel with amazing food and a generous and hospitable family. Prices are cheap for what you get, facilities and rooms are great after a long hike. To put simply, GO THERE!!!!! And make sure you try the Tibet Cheese hot-pot

Tibet Guesthouse is located just a 30 minute walk from Tina's, which is the end of the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail. It is definitely worth the walk out to Walnut Garden. It is so peaceful and quiet. The guesthouse is run by a Tibet family, who are so friendly and helpful. Delicious food is available and you can walk to the see the stone the tiger leaped on in the gorge, if you are not in a rush to return to Lijiang or to go to Shangri-la.

This place is amazing. It is about a 2km walk from Tina's/the end of the hike. The lady that runs the place is super sweet and willing to help with anything. The showers were hot and the heating pads on the beds worked great. We were quite comfortable. The view from our windows was gorgeous. It was a lot of fun--- she knows how to cook too! So great fresh meals. You can't go wrong staying here. My friend and I hiked to Naxi family guesthouse spent the night there and then hiked to Tibetan GH.

Good as a one night stopover. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service. Recommended

The guest house was very conveniently located and in a lovely setting. The owners are friendly and are so helpful. The food is delicious and the hostel is really clean! I recommend this guest house! They can also drive you back to Lijiang for a really reasonable price!

We loved the Tibet house guesthouse! The woman manager was an absolutely lovely person and a delight to converse with despite her limited English and our nonexistent chinese/tibet. Food very good the yak cheese hot pot was similar to sweet ricotta cheese. Do t miss the baba, chic soup or mushroom omelettes. Nice rooms with great view. Highly recommend.

Hostel ist goog and has one of the highest standards in the tiger leaping gorge. Unfortunately the staff was not always so helpfull. They took much more care to another tourist groupe which was there at the same time.

Sheets clearly not changed from previous guests as smelt. Cheese hotpot amazing!

Tibet Guest House was perfect. The food was amazing, the rooms beautiful, clean and roomy. The family takes pride in what they do and you should definitely stay here. They helped us book other hostels in the Gorge and they speak fantastic English. Our family of 4 loved staying here and the service we received was amazing. They also drove us back to Lijiang for a very reasonable price. Wonderful people!! Thank you so much for an excellent stay!

It is a great small hostel owned by a family from the region. It is in the middle of the gorge and you feel like home. All family members are great hostes, the mom cooks, the son drives you and picks you up from wherever you want to, you just have to call him and the grandparents give you apples. The service is great, the offer to pick you up or drop you off in shangri la or Lijiang with their van and they make you lunch when you start your hard hiking days. The food is good with fair prices!

It is close to Tina's Guesthouse, which is where most buses to and from Lijiang or Shangri La start. However, Tina's is nice, but it is fairly big and is run more like a business. Tibet Guest House is a family establishment run by Tibetan people, and they treat you like family. They picked us up and dropped us back off at Tina's because we were too exhausted to walk more lol. The food was delicious, the view is incredible, and we slept great. Highly recommend going if you want tranquility.

Excellent food and the family running the place were super sweet. They helped us with pickups, a ride to Shangri-la at a good rate, and were really helpful and kind overall. We were glad to stay here because the staff and overall atmosphere was great compared to the popular and busy Tina's Guesthouse.
