Family run Guest House located on the lower gorge (around 2 km past Tina's), Tibet Guest House has an chilled atmosphere, good food & beautiful views of the gorge. I was in one of the older rooms, which was basic but comfortable and had plenty of hot water (there are newer rooms available). If travelling on to Lijiang or Shangri La, purchase tickets from Tibet guesthouse, and the bus will pick you up there.

Beautiful hostel set in the tiger leaping gorge valley, well worth the stunning walk down the road from Tina's to get here. The owners are genuine and friendly, and work night and day to ensure you enjoy your stay. The mother went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable, well fed, and made our buses on time. Would definitely come back again!

We arrived in the rain, tired and wet. The guesthouse rests on the left side of the road, you have to climb stairs/or a ladder to get to the patio. The hostess, a sweet Tibetan woman, will greet you there. The house is full of charm, I recommend reserving a private room if you want a western style toilet. Wonderful view, and offers speedy car service. Food is so good, Tibetan fare, first I had it but hopefully not the last. Potato pancakes, wild mushrooms, yak cheese, and cured beef galore.

Rustic, atmospheric outpost with a stunning view of the gorge. Facilities were clean but simple: hot water shower, western toilet, electric blankets to keep you warm at night. No insulation though for sound or weather. Food was delicious but took too long to come out (45 mins - 1 hr for pancakes). Staff was really nice and the manager Tenzin speaks excellent English and is an interesting guy. They could do better with providing hiking and other info in a systematic way. Overall: recommended!

Tenzin, the manager, was fabulous. He was knowlegable of the area, hospibitable, and went out of his way to help us where ever he could. The facade of the guesthouse is beautiful, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the food was delicious, fresh and cheap. Tenzin also gave us great advice on where else to travel throughout Yunan. Would recommend continuing on to Walnut Garden village after hiking Tiger Leaping Gorge just to stay here.
