We went to hua hin as a one day trip from Bangkok. Hua hin has a great beach, but also a great atmospheric city centre. To enjoy that we chose to stay in hua hin for the night and ended up in Tid Tarad Hostel. Very clean hostel, excellent English speaking staff and everything was in perfect shape. No social atmosphere though. Looking for a good bed after a day om hua hin? This is your place. Looking to meet other people? Better go to the city center!

The Hostel looks very tiny from outside, but inside it offeners great spacious rooms. The girls dorm was big and so were the beds. It had lookers and aircon. The shower facilities were clean as well as the room. The guy at the reception was very helpful.

Its a good place to stay. Its clean and nice, owner is always making sure everything is well and you can tell he puts in lots of effort to keep it that way. Rooms are nice and safe. Night market 2min., food stands on the corner, grocery shop in corner, 7-11 close by, nice walk to beach (15min or so).

My girlfriend and I had a private room which was a little cramped but very nice. The bed was comfy and the shower worked nicely. The ensuite doesn't have a door on it though so when you need to go to the bathroom, your partner can see you. Nevertheless there are the common toilets round the corner from the room. Another problem was the size of the walls. You can hear absolutely everything people are doing or saying outside the room, which means they can also hear you...

Staff were very attentive in giving suggestions and could recognise us by name. Location was great too as it was conveniently located near many bus stations, night market and food area. Hostel was comfortable, toilets were spacious and clean and we had many good night's sleep there!

There is no social area, no pantry provided. Key deposit is THB200, after check out, we request to use their bath room to take shower, charge THB100/person, I think is quite expensive for a place like Hua Hin.

Dear Chong, Thank you for your time writing us the review & sorry we have no social area or pantry. We focused on cleanliness, comfort, location, safety, strong wifi and many more. We think Baht 100 for shower after check-out is resonable with bath gel, shampoo, hot shower before you travel at night otherwise public shower at the beach are available at cheaper price. Key deposit will be fully refunded when check-outed. If there is anyway we can make it better pls let us know. Charles

Great hostel, centrally located - ideal for the night market. Charles is very friendly and helped us with onward travel advice. 10 minute walk from the train station.

The hostel was clean, good internet access and in a very central location. If you are arriving from Bangkok on the bus the hostel is very convenient it is just round the corner. It was very peaceful which was just what I needed but if you are looking for a party hostel this isn't it. I would stay here again.

This hostel was lovely, little tricky to find. We arrived very late and it looked as if there was nobody there but it seems to be a one way window, so they can see when you arriveThere is no communal area to meet other travellers however which is unfortunate but otherwise it was lovely. The rooms where very clean as was the bathrooms. The staff where very helpful and where very kind in answering my continuos questions, despite night staff having limited English. Overall we had a lovely stay

This hostel is super close to the night market and also within 10 mins walk to the beach. The owner Charles speaks excellent english and also very helpful when i ask the cheapest way to get to the palace! The night shift lady is helpful and friendly too even she cannot speak much english and always with nice smile! The bathroom are very clean and well-decorated. Definitely ideal for the budget travelers!

The place is very clean and safe, but without any atmosphere. Be careful how many nights you book and how much they charge you. They won't let two single travellers stay in an two-bed-room. So you have to pay the full price alone.

Dear Customer, Thank you very much for staying with us and review. We remembered you stayed with us only one night not complicated so bill must be correct (same bill as per HostelWorld). You travelling alone and booked the private room (for one or two persons) we have no male dorm so the price is correct for private room. Hope all is clear. Best regards, Charles
