Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center Reviews

Great location and view on the mountains from our room. The Activity Center is a basic, clean hotel. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is included in the price; lunch and dinner is available, which is convenient as there are only three other other places to eat in Tienhsiang apart from the 5 star Silks Place Hotel. The price is relatively high. For less money we stayed in more luxurious B&B's in Taroko/Xincheng area. This is close to the railway station, where you can rent a scooter.

We enjoyed our time in Taroko and decided to stay at Tianxiang. The booking via hosrelworld was convenient. The rooms were exactly as shown with a great view towards a pagoda. We liked that the shower was western style, separated by a glass door. The room was very clean with enough space for luggage. Breakfast was included and for 180 twd you can get a decent dinner. If you like to hike we can recommend the Old Jhuilu Trail. The staff was extremely helpful in getting the permit for the hike!

Very good walk toward this place. You can be surprised about the cold inside the building, it is made of marble. Even if it is beautiful and clean, no way to get more than 16*C, climatizer do not warm up.
