Our stay would have been more positive if we actually slept for the 2 nights we were there. We had the worst positioned room, which was located on the street, had the communal area outside and the bar below. We could here everything. People were partying in the hostel until the early hours, even though there are notices to say to keep quiet after 11/12. The staff were more interested in partying I think......

Super Lage! Super nettes Personal!

Tiger Paw was okay. Bathroom was clean and the staff was helpful to set up tours, but much else. Bar was cool, and it's close to a lot of food, expensive food. The staff was extremely loud in the mornings, beginning at 630 am. For that reason I would not stay again.

Good hostel, breakfast NOT included. Kinda dead when I was there but I hear it can be very social with the right crowd. Location is excellent for shops and restaurants on Calle 10. Also really close to Casa Kiwi and across the street from Crepes and Waffles.

Cheap, friendly hostel right near everything with a pool table and bar with great beers. Bathrooms were pretty crook though. Only stayed 1 night.

The hostel is loud, no fridge on the private rooms, which are dirty with roaches, spiders and some other weird flying insects. The shower is only hot at night, when no one showers, in the mornings it may be warm at best. The happy hours are on the wrong hours for the owner to make any real money. The private rooms are really bad and old. I paid for one with 2 beds and they gave me one with a single bed and they charged me double. No AC on the rooms, just a fan. overall, not coming back.

Tiger Paw is perfectly located in the El Poblado area and is a 15 min walk to the Metro. There are some great restaurants, parks and stores in the area. Tiger Paw also has a great bar on offer with some cool chill zones on the front patio and on the roof. The staff are friendly and professional and are always around to assist with offering recommendations or booking you a day trip. The breakfast is simple but delicious. All in all, Tiger Paw offers great value for a good price.

Staff were absolutely fantastic. Alex, Estefania and Lorena were all incredibly helpful whether it was regarding tours or local bars/restaurants. Not a place to stay if you are looking for a quiet night's sleep. If you're looking for a party, Tiger Paw is the place to go. Location is great, right in Poblado and close to the bars of Parque Lleras, as well as Metro. Bedrooms/bathrooms nice and clean and showers hot and powerful.

The singles with private bath are damp furnaces - I had one, also spoke to people in the other 2. Noise is a similar issue until 4a, starting again at 8a because of breakfast. That being said, the price and location are right, the staff knowledgable (if not terribly friendly), and the atmosphere social. Huge caveat - this IS a North American establishment (US/Canada both), both the owner and the clientele, so if you have problems with Americans you might be better off elsewhere.

The team at Tiger Paw is great. They have around the clock service, an in hostel bar, and food. The travelers there are usually friendly and we made a lot of great friends. The area is the best area in town, and I felt safe in and around the hostel at all times. We were recommended this hostel by friends and we were not disappointed. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Book early, because the place books quick. Next time I come to medellin, I'll def be staying at the Tiger Paw. Enjoy your stay!

Kitchen was tiny and the music in the bar was too loud, especially since it was a sunday.. But a lot of computers, close to going out and in a good neighbourhood. Staff weren't the most helpful though.

The hostel was really well located. The room was ok and there were plenty of toilets and showers. The girl working behind the desk during the morning/afternoon on the week days needs to learn how to smile and deal with customers properly. The afternoon/evening and night staff were great. The kitchen was quite small and not really well-equiped.

our time in Tiger Paw was really nice, location is very close to center El Poblado which is nice coz u dont need to use public transport or taxi. Stuff was helpful, there is also bar and u can have a beer also during the day ;) there is only one thing about windows at rooms. Most of them got a windows situated inside of the building. Dont expect fresh air in your room.

Nice hostel, great location! nice bar, though it can be unsafe for the guests, as the girl at the bar is the receptionist and she can´t control who goes upstair, where the rooms are. Nothing happend while I was there, but I could see the lack of security in that point.
