Friendly staff, good location, good atmosphere however kitchen facilities were a joke. Kitchen Urgently needs an upgrade and newer clean kitchen utensils. The breakfast was also very average and needs a lot more attention for the guests. Apart from that, not a bad place and I definitely recommend.
My private single room had a window that was not lockable. Because I had a lot of values I did not feel that secure. On the other side the staff was very friendly and therefore I can only recommend this hostel!
Amazing hostel made my time in medellin just great!!! Highly reccomend this place great people the hostess

Veeery poor kitchen, average rooms. But the parties and the bar were really nice, as the people staying there - whenever there was people. When i checked out, they didn't discoutn the money I had paid for hostel world, saying that was a fee charged by the website.
We thought this was a good hostel and despite people telling us this is a party hostel we didn't find it too noisy and we were travelling with our 3 year old daughter! They have very hot water which is great and the staff are super helpful.
Uncomfortable beds and linens, too noisy in the rooms from the bar music even though no one was partying! Poorly equipped kitchen.
Staff = excellent (positive and helpful) Location = perfect...3 blocks to Parque Lleras Atmosphere = not a party hostel, but social...you will likely meet many people at the bar on the first night Cleanliness = kitchen could be cleaner, but everything else was fine Facilities = there needs to be more bathrooms...i often waited for the bathroom (this would be one of the only negatives)
Great place...needs more bathrooms and kitchen could be a bit bigger and cleaner. Everything else was excellent. Hostel super bueno...necesita mas banos y la cocina seria mas grande y limpia. Pero, otras cosas fueron excelentes.
A nice hostel if you're looking to be in Poblado, the touristy party area. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms, though ours was a little dark, and noisy as it was over the bar. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of locker space, bar with a nice happy hour downstairs. Had a great cheap lunch. Staff was helpful. Has 2 TV rooms, bar, a small kitchen.
The upstairs dorm room is incredibly noisy at night because it overlooks the bar. Apart from that, great location, great staff, secure and clean.
We really enjoyed our recent stay at Tiger Paw. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and best of all it was a fun place to party while also being a safe and quiet place to get a good nights sleep.

It was a bit of a sausage fest when we stayed there (my friend and I were basically the only girls) but the atmosphere is really fun and the beds super comfortable. Recommend!
Good location for everything in Poblado area. Some of the staff were helpful and others not so much. Has a bar downstairs with great happy hour. Our room was above bar and was loud at times - we tend to stay up late anyway and the staff do close the bar around midnight so would only be a problem if you wanted to sleep earlier than that. Good shower and large bathroom, good wifi.
This hostel is in a great location right in the heart of the city very close to Parque Lleras and only a 10 min walk to the metro. The hostel has a bar so if you want a quite nights sleep, probably best to go elsewhere. The staff are lovely and helpful and they have really cheap breakfast and lunch offers which is great when your on a budget. The beds are very comfortable also.
Amazing place, the staff are excellent especially Sthephania
The Tiger Paw is just a few minutes from Parque Lleras, has a good bar (with local ales, which was one of the reasons we stayed there!), a kitchen and fans in the room. We stayed in a double room which, being right above the street, was pretty noisy. If we stayed there again, we'd go in a dorm room, because the price was a lot higher and teh room wasn't particularly impressive. The shower had very good pressure. We didn't try the food, but there are plenty of places nearby.
Nice Hostel. If you're looking for a dorm take the cheaper one. It has ac and the room is bigger than the other! (don't understand the pricedifference...)
Fun place, very secure, close to public transit. Highly recommend.
Everything was great about the hostel, clean & social, just what I was looking for. My only comment is that I paid a $5 deposit on Hostel World for my reservation and didn't get that returned :(
