Tiger paw is situated in the ideal location with easy access to night life, sight seeing, restaurants, shopping and much more. The hostel met my expectations starting with the welcoming staff. The guest are also very friendly which made the ambiance all the better. The rooms are clean, the bar is always fully stocked and happy hour 2x1 drinks is attractive. Overall I loved it

Don´t believe the high ratings. There are no electrical sockets inside any room, which is unacceptable in a day when all travelers have at least a camera battery if not a mobile or laptop. The staff was the best part of the hostel, but they were good not great. The entire staff had worked less than 4 months. They tried to help find basic info like how to renew a visa in Medellín without having to research it. To party in Poblado, stay at Casa Kiwi. Otherwise go to The Wandering Paisa.

Nice place, good location and the bar is an easy place to meet people. Everyone leaves to go out around 11 so you get some peace after that,

More low key than Kiwi, which is good and bad. I liked the breakfast a lot. Pablo Escobar tour was better at Black Sheep.

Good hostel, the staff were good and always friendly. A lot of a hostel experience is about who stays there at the same time as you and it would appear tiger paw isn't first choice so at quieter periods casa kiwi is the place to be. That said if you're literally looking for a place to crash then tiger paw is a perfectly good location. Not great kitchen facilities but the Pablo Escobar tour they offer is better than others available from other hostels.

Great spot to stay! Fun staff and bar and right across from Crepes and Waffles. Definitely recommend. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms with hot water!

Really enjoyed my stay at Tiger Paw, nice bed, nice showers, a good bar with cheap prices, best location even (everything you will need is at a 5 minutes walk distance) and wonderful staff (Alexandra is the best!!!). In Medellin, you MUST stay at Tiger Paw. Wish I could stay more.

The best thing about this hostel is the location. Its really close to zona rosa where all the restaurants, bars and clubs are so you save a lot on taxis. Its also directly across the road from crepes and waffles! The staff were really friendly and the bar was busy and cheap. I stayed in a private room which opened onto the reception so on the downside it was fairly noisy.

This hostel was okay. The location was the best part, it is right by Parque Lleras, where all the good restaurants and bars are. The hostel was quite loud; if you are looking for a quiet and resful night, you won't find it here. Due to its location, there is a lot of street noise, and we were awoken to the sound of a band playing across the street from 2am-4am on a Wednesday night. No breakfast is included; they offer it to you at a price of 5,000pesos.

I really liked the Tiger Paw, . Common areas were very clean, spacious, and fun. Plus all the girls who worked there were super friendly. It's also very close to all the bars and nightlife, only a couple minutes walking.

This Hostel is Located just a few blocks from the Zona Rosa in Poblado. There are many bars and places to eat nearby. The exterior is attractive with a few tables situated outside on the sidewalk in a cafe style setting. The all female staff are friendly and try to be helpful. It seems like it could be a happening Hostel with the right mix of people but at this time the occupancy was low and most of the people there seemed to be close to 20. Nice roof top deck. More expensive then others.

Really good Hostel, nothing to complain. They could only maybe have some more information about bus-conections, but that seems to be a general problem in Colombia.

First time staying in a hostel in my country, i.e. Colombia. Feel really proud i stayed in such a nice hotel. Everybody in the staff were really friendly and i felt safe; there is fun at the hostel but there´s also a quiet time to rest after 12 which I really appreciated since I was on a business trip. Every was helpful and it just felt like home. Keep the good work to show people from other countries how nice Colombia is, and Colombians are (:
