The staff were beautiful but the hostel was dirty, smelly and dingy. No air con so couldn't sleep!! Never again!!

Nice clean hostel, very friendly and helpful staff. Long journey (2 busses) from the airport, but staff provided good directions. Internet is average but big rooms and air con was good. Definitely recommend the hostel for people staying a night or two in Sao Luis

Had a great time here hanging out w staff and other guests. Location is well outside historical center but buses are close by. Facilities are OK. Rooms are big, plenty of room for bags which is a nice change. Breakfast needs at least to have ham and cheese added, it's pretty basic otherwise. Best thing here was the people!

The Hostel is in a quarter, which appeared kind of weird and not really save to us! The Connection to the old part of the City van only be made by taxi in the late evening hours. nevertheless, the staff is Perfect. Everyone speaks english and the owner tim even drove us to a nice Restaurant.

Hostel was great, Staff were lovely and very helpful! Will definetly be recommending it to everyone :)

We were only here one night. One staff member speaks good english. Seems like a nice and fun guy. Nice with the pool.

Lot love and hot friends!! Hostel same home!! Love and miss

The hostel is in a nice and safe part of the town. It is close to a big shopping mall and plenty of small single shops. The hostel itself is quite and has a great back yard with a clean swimming pool, tables and hammocks. Plenty of toilets and showers that work. The aircon works good. The owners english is perfect! He is a really nice guy! We had some great conversations. :) He was very helpfull and he took us all on a trip to see the old city and some of the pre-carnaval. Awesome!

Staff can speak English. So good.

The host was lovely, very helpful. He was the one who told me about the shuttle transfer to Barreirinhas, who booked it for me. I didn't do any sightseeing in Sao Luis, so I cannot comment on the distance between the hostel and the historical centre.

It was a pleasure! And the owner will do everything to help you to have a great stay :).

Its a quiet hostel but not much to do in sao luiz mainly good to stay one night and go to Lencois to see the dunes. Staff very friendly however and good at speaking english. Good facilities and overall a great hostel.

I haven't stayed in too many hostels, but maybe the price had some influence on why I chose this place. Usually I do a lot of research before booking a place but apparently I should've been more selective. Needless to say next time I will be more careful when booking a hostel, and make sure to do my homework. Basically the cleanliness of this place could have been much better. On a positive note the person running the place was very helpful in helping to arrange travel out of the city.

Amazing place! Staff so friendly and great atmosphere. Feels like home... Thanks for a nice stay!

Hostel is pretty far from main attractions and center. 10 min bus ride. However, not main hostel options in this city. No other choice. Hostel is fairly clean. Bunk beds are not very comfortable and pillows are very small. Breakfast is very basic. I would invest money in making your own.

Great atmosphere, lovely owner! Great guys, very relaxt and helps you out whenever with whatever.

Loved staying in this hostel - the staff were really friendly and relaxed. They advised us on good nights out and they were very welcoming. Would have liked to have used the swimming pool but it was out of use but overall a very welcoming hostel.
