Very close to metro. Old building, not ideally modernized, but relatively clean and ok. My room didn't have a bathroom, so I used a public one. But it was clean, unlimited hot water and shampoo supplied, no queues. Very good wi-fi in the room. Cleaning of the room every day.

I would not stay here again. The location was OK. Close to a metro station (Corvisart), however, pretty far South in the 13a, meaning long journeys to and from the sites. I was in a single room without a shower, which was fine, however, the shower in the main hall was dirty, and leaked. The room was shabby, and even while cleaned daily, felt dirty. It was equivalent to the quality of a really old Super 8/Days Inn in the US/Canada, but can get away with charging high prices, because it's Paris.

Tiny room with a cheep furniture but what more can you expect from a 2 star hotel? Anyway you're going to use it just to get some sleep and take a shower and then back to the Paris streets, so why go to over expensive 4-5 star Paris hotels? Staff was friendly and helpful, most of them spoke fairly good English, room cleaned and towels changed on daily basis. Hotel wi-fi was down for two days, that would be my only complaint for what was like I already said typical 2 star accommodation.

Unfortunately I was next to a smoking room. The adjoining door let the smell through and I woke to a stifling smell of cigarette smoke.
