Tip Top Backpackers is a colonial house located in the historical center of La Candelaria, near museums, bus routes, theaters, banks, ATMs, restaurants, bars, libraries and shopping centers.
It can accommodate up to 30 people in bedrooms with 3 and 6 beds, three bedrooms with private bath and 3 with shared bathrooms, great social areas, TV area with fireplace, bar, wifi and internet access, kitchen with micro wave and fridge The hostel offers tank which guarantees water hot all the time.
In front of the property there is a park with soccer field, basketball and exercise bars, board games and indoor games.

PROS: - pleasant staff - room and bathroom to ourselves - warm, colorful building - excellent security - free breakfast CONS: - location still undergoing construction - extreme difficulty confirming reservation and arranging airport pickup - much smaller kitchen than in other hostels visited - was not provided breakfast one morning despite request - common area surrounded by rooms, so guests weren't allowed in common areas past a certain hour - WiFi did not extend past common areas
