Tip Top Hostel Reviews

I really liked my stay at TipTop. Friendly staff, spotless hostel with big rooms, fun communal spaces with games and pool and ping pong, events in the evening and a nice garden to chill out. Location wise it's awesome, few blocks from all the main touristic spots in La Candelaria, plus the nearby university supplying bargain bars/restaurants all around. Nice breakfast too. Recommended!!

Had a lovely time and the staff are really friendly. The hostel is just missing a computer for internet access.

I stayed at the little Tip Top building in a private room. I quiet private place. There were not many other fellow travelers, in the dormitory part none. At the same time they were finishing their new building, former Casa el Sol. Very big, bright building. Everything brand new painted and new interior. This place has got more potential for backpacker to meet eachother. There is a pingpongtable and nice garden. The staff, Maria and Richard, were very nice and helpful. It is owned by a Canadian.

This hostel was the first one in my three moths travelling around South America. Probably it is not the best place if you are a single traveller and want to meet people as there is not much common place to catch up, however, I personal believe that the owner of the place are genuinely fantastic, really helpful and friendly. They welcomed me as member of their family and gave all the best information to help me out during my staying in Bogota. Really recommend for couple or group of friends. Love

really good! good quiet atmosphere. pay a bum to get you some firewood.... fireplace area is nice.
