We stayed at Tipperary House for three nights. Everything is clean and the staff is really nice. It is a bit far outside, still within walking distance to the city centre (20 mins) and if you dont want to walk, the tram departs right in front of the house. It is not like a hostel, you only have your dorm where you can hang out. In this dorm you will find a kettle and some tea and coffee. For breakfast you will go downstairs where the staff will serve breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay!

A quaint little place that's very close to Hueston Station, Tipperary House is run by a family of wonderful Irish folks. Although not a "party hostel" and probably best suited for families or those who like to stay a little more low key, this place has everything you need in a budget accomodation. Very friendly staff willing to give advice whenever needed and a nice breakfast supplied are just the tip of the iceberg. Would definitely recommend this hostel. Great value for money.

Great experience. The staff is awesome, very friendly and nice. I'd recommend this place any time!!!

I have been a couple of nights in this hostel and I had a great time. It 'niceclean and cozy. The staff friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of tips about the city and proceeded to call us a taxi and make sure we did not fool. They also provided adapters and hair dryer! The rooms are well heated and clean. Breakfast included and plentiful: yogurt, cereal, toast at the moment, jams, juice, tea, coffee, milk .. nothing was missing! The location is convenient to Heuston Station and arrive in the cit

Excellent place, everything as advertised, very cosy. Basic, but it has everything you need, delivered to you by warm-hearted people.

Yip, great little place - warm, welcoming and pleasant. Enjoyed chats with the porter who gave some advice about navigating my way around the city, places to busk and other performers to look out for - good and bad. Tipperary house was great for my needs which were budget and basic. 20 mins walk (only 2 or 3 tram stops) from town situated near Guinness and Jamiesons distilaries. Cheers. Sam

All perfect # excellent

Great location near to town, right opposite the Guiness factory, with trams running right outside & the train station just opposite too. The only problem is that our Ryan air flight was delayed 3hrs & even though we rang to let the hostel know, there was no reply & when we arrived could'nt get in & had to sit from 2am untill about 7.30-8am in Burger King drinking coffee untill we could get in!! :( The staff v. friendly & rooms clean & we did get 21 euros off the bill for the inconvenience.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thanks for your kind comments ,apologies again about the first night but as I explained we had no way to know your flight was delayed and after the night porter had waited up till 1:30 he just thought you were a No Show so he turned off the bell so the other guests could sleep and would not be disturbed . Hope to see you again Kind Regards Mark
