Got to the hostel, did not feel safe at all as a 21 year old female on my own. The building it is in was horrible. There are no real words to describe the place! So got to the hostel and I was double booked! They had no rooms available Had to find accommodation elsewhere, for triple the price, turns out where I stayed was much safer and comfortable then this place anyway. Very disappointed with my first hostel experience in Hong Kong! Wary to ever do it again

Although located at the Chungking Mansions, where you can are offered have sex, hashish, watches and variety of cell phones, Tokyo Hostel is a really nice place. It\'s clean (daily room-service), the staff is very helpful, they\'ve got fridge in the room and BBC on the tv.It might not be the cheapest one, but the price is considerable, and you pay for safety and cleanness. A very good option indeed.

The rooms are really small, the staff, despite the good knowledge of english, is neither friendly nor useful, we waited about 40 mins. to pick up our bagage risking to miss our train because we had to wait for the manager, since it was too early in the morning. However we had been ensured that we could have collected our belongins whenever we want. This was very annoyng. the room is seriously too small we could not moving comfortably inside it.

The Hostel situated in a very unpleasant building - durty, noisy. You might wait for the elevator for 10-15 min when going down. First impression was terrible, even though we needed beds only for 4 hours to have a nap at the day time. Reseptionist didn't speak English, was not helpful. In the beginning manager offered us a room that was not clean (guest just left). He said if just for couple of hours what's the metter... Finally, room was clean and beds were hard enough. I do not recommend!
