Couldn't have been more pleased. My hotel of choice in Turin.
It's a confortable hotel but with hostel mind. It even has a kitchen and a little breakfast, that was a good surprise. The hotel is well located (near the centre), in a nice neighborhood. The staff is very helpfull. A great place to stay in Torino!
The atmosphere was pretty good and the staff very helpful. To be picky, the mattress was a little hard and the doors can be decorated.
the staff is really nice and the place is near the station
It is definitely a hotel and not a hostel. You do not have much of the cool atmosphere that some hostels can have, but you also do not have any of the negatives that so very often come with staying in hostels. It was very refreshing to have my own space and privacy and the hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Really clean and the personL is really friendly. I can go there again
It's near train station and the park along the river, which is very beautiful, acceptable distance from main attrations. Clean, safe, with comfort beds, hospitable staff and good wifi. In fact, it has free breakfast, although it's simple but most hostels only offer even simpler breakfast. If it had kitchen, it would be better.
This hotel has is own spirit. It's a very well decorated space, with some special details that catched our attention like the tips about what to do or to eat in Turin, or a very interesting and diversified books colection that you can take and read on your room for free. The room was fine with everything that you need, as was the bathroom. The cleaness was great and there was always something to eat or drink if you felt like it. The breakfast starts at 8:00 am but we sadly left before that.
Very nice hostel with friendly staff close to Puorta Nuova train station.
Very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, good wifi and area to hang out in the hostel. Enjoyed my stay!
A good hostel for a nice price nice englisch chef of the hostel. i stay there for 4days and t was fantastic i sleep with 2 Italiaanse students in a room for 3 the city was very good i love Torino i come back in the hostel greets Erik Wartna form The Nederland
The hostel is located close to the railway station, a 15 min walk give or take. The region is full of places to eat and supermarkets. The guys in the reception were friendly and helpful. The only minor thing that could be improved is the mildew smell ( not visible mildew) that came from the bathroom in the ensuite room I stayed.
They definitely understood what it means to be a "boutique" hostel. I usually try to offer some constructive criticism when I write these reviews, but I really can't think of anything... Will probably return the next time I pass through Turin!
Excellent place, spacious room, helpful staff. Pretty nice restaurant right next door to the right and a good breakfast/lunch place to the left two streets down. The hostel is not in the best area, but nothing bad either. I would definitely recommend this place.
My stay was lovely. Just a few minutes from the train station Porta Nuova, Tomato Backpackers Hotel allows you to easily start your adventures in Turin. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and in a good mood, and the single room I had was very clean and really lovely. I enjoyed my stay 100%.

This was foremost the best hostel we had during our European trip. The staff is incredibly friendly and always eager to help. You get a genuine warm welcome and immediately feel at home. The rooms are clean and offer everything you need. Also, the atmosphere is great. The music, decoration, offered accomodotion, everything follows the same line and it just tells you that the staff thought every little detail of this hostel thoroughly through. Surely, the best place to go in Torino!

Tomato's is one of the best hotel/hostel I've ever stayed in. All the staff I came across during my stay were wonderful. One of them gave us recommendations for lunch & dinner, which turned out to be the best lunch (Teapot) & dinner (Coco's) we had in Turin. PROS: - Very friendly & helpful staff. - Spacious rooms & bathrooms (double bed with private ensuite) - Great location. 7 mins to train station. 1 min to bus stop - Strong WiFi. - Laundry room. $5 for wash & dry. CONS: - None
Tom and Benji were very friendly and helpful. It is a small, cozy, attractively decorated hostel. It was a nice change from a massive hostel in Paris. I highly recommend it..
