Very good staff, very weel placed, not so far from the central station and close to the main attractions and most visited streets. Placed in an area with lot of good restaurants and bars.

I stayed at the Tomato Backpackers hostel on 2 occasions whilst heading down into Italy. I was very empressed on the second occasion they even remembered my name. I stopped in 2 different rooms and both were great. The location is brilliant only a short walk to the shops and the main railway station which has a great underground system. There are a number of restaurants bars and supermarkets nearby so it's a great location. I would have no concerns about booking this accommodation again.

A very clean and nice place to stay. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Close to the "Porta Nuova" station. I would definitely stay there again.

the staff is very nice and helpfull. The hostel is near parco del valentino. In the neighbourwood there are many good restaurants! It's a bit walking to the city center or the train station.

The location is good. The room is clean. We have our own bathroom, and can use the kitchen in the basement. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us with almost everything, including even very tiny thing, like pasting stamps on our postcards. In addition, with the suggestion from the staff, we had an opportunity to buy some delicious local food for breakfast at the open market nearby. Some drawback is that the breakfast is a little simple and the elevator is a little small. However

What an amazing experience! Tomato is such a cozy place, with its fun and cool decoration. It's very near to Porta Nuova station, a truly central location for Turin. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, and I didn't see any signs of non-cleanliness whatsoever. My only grudge was the computer in the lobby: even though it was free internet access, it had very old versions of browsers installed, which made a few web sites such as gmail not work in full.

A truly brilliant place to stay! Hostel is located really close to the train station in a lively area with some nice bars and restaurants around. An easy 15 minute walk from the beautiful historic city center. The hostel is run by some very friendly and helpful young guys who make you feel at ease from the very first moment on!

Huge thanks to Tom at Tomato Backpackers. A young fella running a new business, he has everything you would want in a hostel -apart from a well equipped kitchen. The kitchen was the only downfall of one of the best hostels I've stayed at. But hey, you're in Italy, eat pizza on the town. Clean, every Lonely Planet guide imaginable, friendly staff (Tom and his sister) and located very close to the main station. Would be a great atmosphere full in summer. A huge recommendation.
