Clean, safe and good location. My second time staying at Tomato and the standard is still good as last year. Thumbs up!

i have booked a one room apartmen for 2 in tomatoes rooms and it is indeed value for money. it is an apartment in a private condo and the security is good. the location is in right in the middle of the famous market in taichung.

It is near Fengjia so it is convenient for me. The condition is clean and I like it. I will choose Tomato again if I go to Taichung.

Me and my friends shared a 6 men dorm, could have a common toilet every floor as it was rather troublesome for 6 of us to share only 1 toilet.

The hostel is very clean and spacious. It is like an apartment with sofa and tv. Toiletries and a delicious breakfast coupons are provided. The hostel is close to Fengjia night market which is a must go in Taichung.

This is definitely a place of a hotel standard. The rooms are lift landing level (save you the effort to lift your luggage up and down) Very comfortable to stay in. Its location is just right inside of Feng Chia night market. Convenient stores and eateries are just within walking distance. They also provide daily room cleaning service. However, their office number is very hard to get through. Otherwise, its a excellent place to stay in!!!

Unfortunately this is not a hostel. It is a studio type apartment and the owner trying to get the maximum investment return putting six travelers into a small unit. The owner has another business nearby. You get no travel info or atmosphere. Not recommended.

Room was not tidy up,they only replace towel.Will be better if room was clean and tidy up daily

Excellent location given its close proximity to the night markets. This hostel is very safe (requires key sensor to get into the building). They also provided us breakfast coupons that we could use at the American style restaurant around the corner. You can even have your laundry done downstairs next door over! I even got a haircut across the street! The hostel room itself was VERY clean. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Taichung.

Excellent location and facilities!

Stayed in a big service apartment style room which was far better than expected than a hostel room. Trendy design, spacious private common room with sofa. Very well worth the money.

the night guard who was stationed at the receiption was very impolite. we wanted help from him and asked if he could lent us a phone to call. instead of rejecting us politely, he brushed us away in a hostile attitude, "we are not a hotel, we do not have such service here".

A fantastic place, although it is a 45 mins bus ride from the main train station, however the area around the hostel does have an excellent night market and plenty of cheap local food stalls.

I was upgraded to a double room, However, I would like to make new friends during my stay. The security is so good that i cant even reach the other rooms, It is just like a hotel room. Good for friends,couples and families, but not so suitable for backpackers.

Convenient as Fengjia Night Market is only 2 mins walk away.

Signage not eye-catching enough... Staff good customer service... Security was excellent... Great location for Feng Jia Nite Market...

the place was superb!!super value for money!we love it alot!only a 5 mins walk to fengjia night market... the reception and the rooms were separated..but only a few steps away... a super high class hostel..good security, nice furnishing of the rooms..very comfortable! will definitely recoomend to all who will be going taichung!

My girl friend and I loves it very much... Tomato's room looks unique and clean...nice one!!

Looks more like a hotel to me. Very cheap for the amenities and quality of lodging.
