We arrived slightly early for our room and told to wait 30 mins. At 12 there was still someone in the room who the lady instead of asking to leave instead let have a shower. Wasting our time further. Once we were finally in the room, which was allegedly a triple, the lady motioned for us to push the two single beds together. Not very comfortable for 3 sizeable lads. Great location though and although small, got to be expected. Lady was friendly and you won't find much cheaper in hong kong

The rooms are pretty small, but it is a good place with wonderful location, price for the rooms is the best and the beds are clean. Lisa was very nice person and she gave me instructions and a map of the city when I needed it. I wouldn't give high rating for the hostel to not attract booking, because I want to have a room for me. But I had to tell it was the good place to stay. I would recommend it for my friends as a good price to stay and safe guarantied place, and I would be back again.

Although Lisa, the nice lady who works at the hostel, was lovely and very helpful at every hour, I must say that I did not like my stay at Tom's. The beds were rock-hard, the windows had no lock on them, and since ChungKing mansions are currently being renovated - the constructions going on outside our windows made it very accessible for anyone who wanted to climb in. The room was small, but better in size than some other rooms we saw in the building (twin bed room).
