The staff in Tonys Guesthouse was extremely friendly and hospitable in making sure that we were comfortably settled. She also recommended food to eat (food in Melaka is amazing, don't forget to eat as much as you can) and places to go. The facilities are also clean and aircon is available to help with the heat in Melaka. The staff also arranged for our transport back to Melaka Sentral by driving us there at a rate cheaper than taxis. Overall I would definitely recommend this hostel!

Additional costs for AC and no breakfast included. Shower not too powerful. Very helpful staff, very cool look and comfy bed. Mosquito nets at windows which is good.

Prices are very hard to beat! Good for those who are on a budget. Delicious breakfast, seemed quite healthy too. Lovely artwork by tony all over the guest house. Though still fairly clean, there is room for improvement. The linoleum on the floor looks like it has seen better days. Bed was very comfy. I really liked the location as well, near enough to the lively attractions, but not too near, so the noise didn't reach the property.

Tony's Guest House is a good place to stay in Melaka, it's very central so you can walk everywhere, security is good (door access card for the main entrance) and the staff is gorgeous! They even waited for me to arrive at night even though my bus was late and gave me an upgrade! The place itself is simple, the house seems to be older and could use some inside renovation in my view, the mattresses of the beds and couches were worn (lower rating on atmosphere), common areas cleaned daily.

Very relaxed, really good food (but you are in for a wait as it's handmade on ordering). 5/10 minute walk to the centre of the town. 20 minute taxi to Melaka Sentral, cost ~20rgt. Not advised for small children as it's quite noisy at night and the roads aren't particularly safe roundabout it. However, really good fun for travelling.

Oir taxi found it hard to find, however he didnt speak much english! Tony and his wife were excellent hosts with a wealth of knowledge and so friendly. Even tooK us to the bus station. Although it looked far from everything on a map u aee actually only seconds away from from the hustle and bustle of it all. Only a few people staying while we were there hence only good for atmosphere. Tonys iwn baked breads are a must try

We were a group of 7 students traveling in Melaka, and tony's guesthouse was the perfect hostel for us. Tony and his wife were very friendly, rooms were cute and clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. Also, the hostel is very well located ( 5 minutes of walk from the center)

It's all about Tony & Summer here as they make your stay feel like a real home from home. Room very quirky although the beds are a little firm for my liking. Shared facilities good and clean if a little short on numbers. Breakfast the best in Asia by a street mile including great coffee. Brilliant location being no more yhan a ten minute stroll to Jonker Walk and Chinatown. The most hepful place we have stayed in over nine months and would definitely stay again if we pass back through.

5 nights at Tony's and it was really great. Tony and his wife were always kind and helpful. Really secure guesthouse. Great food. not many other people were staying there when we did, so it felt a bit lonely at times. the atmosphere is probably awesome when the pace is packed out. It was really helpful that they drove us to the bus station on our last day and it saved us the hassle of much slower public transport. if we're ever in Melaka again we'll definitely stay again!
