Friendly helpful owner staff in an intact part of town with good local food and market, the rest of town is going through a development, speculation phase.

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean, colourful and peaceful. Great location! Big rooms, warm showers (if you want) we added three days to our stay because it was so enjoyable. Fridges and kitchen equipment make helping yourself easier. Tony and his wife are very informative and helpful.

We had a fantastic time at Tony, they was really friendly. Nice little guest house, the room is clean and the staff was really nice, I wished we were there longer. It's not far from the heritage site, it close to China Town and Little India. Will come back, and next time will be longer! Miss you guys already!

Lovely little place. Really friendly staff, verywelcoming. Plenty of character as the owner is an artist. Fantastic food in the cafe downstairs.

There is evidence that this Guesthouse was once a very popular place, very colourful and quirky painted walls. However it now seems to have lost its popularity and has yet to be cleaned from its glory days. Very worn down, bedding over used and just felt like it needs a good scrub and a lick of paint. Staff were okay we asked for bus advice which they gave us- unfortunately was very wrong and cost us an extra 4 hours on a bus. Location was close to town.

Tony and wife were very helpfull to us .. this is a hostel with caracther ..my wife and I liked the place a lot , it is what you exspect from a hostel . Good location just out of Chinatown .. "value for money" ?? ABSOLUTELY !!

Quirky little place, a bit out of the main tourist area, but not too far. I stayed in a single room, which was fine, but it was so hot I had to pay another 12rm for aircon as I couldn't cope without it. The artwork and the colour of the walls is amusing, but it gives the place character. Quite quiet during the night, which was a relief. The room and bathroom were clean enough, but nothing spectacular. Quite lonely though - In two days and two nights I only ever saw one other person.
