We stayed in a dark smelly room with a small window facing a wall. There was no hot water (unless you took a shower early in the afternoon). They didn't take out the garbage for three days. The swimming pool was defunct and the wifi connection only in the common area, not in the room. Definitely not worth the money. The only thing we liked was a small fridge and AC.

Tony and his wife were incredibly warm and helpful. The location was perfect - very central in Perissa so a short walk anywhere. This place is great value for money and I would recommend staying here.

the hostel is nicely located next to the sea. However we had some Problems to reschedule / chancel one night which we had to pay extra. Also the hostel seems to be quite expensive for the comfort you receive.

Tony's was totally a mixed bag. On one hand, we arrived late at night and he was so kind in welcoming us and being as accommodating as possible - truly awesome!! On the other hand, the pool was a little defunct, the fridge was broken down and we didn't have blankets. It's a quirky place, but great proximity to the Perissa bus stop and Tony is very nice.

Tony and Kathy were very nice and helpful. Location good less than 5 mins walk from beach. Can be noisy late at night, local kids running around playing. Not a lot of privacy if you want some fresh air as the back door of the room opened out into a common area where people seemed to walk around quite late. Wifi didn't really work but there are plenty of restaurants and cafes with wifi so wasn't a problem.

Everything was great. But just one thing was not good. It was taste of water. I donot know why the tasted was bad. To be honest, at first I think it was its own, the villa, problem. However the taste of water at the airport was worse. :

Tony's villa is located near all you want to see in Perrisa : the beautiful beach, the bars and restaurants, the old Perrisa. The accommodations are very good, especially for the price. Comfortable rooms, privates bathrooms, air conditioner, pool, sweet chilling spot. But most of all, the owner, Tony, is a wonderful host. He will help you to enjoy your stay in the island. I've traveled a lot and it's really rare to find such a great place! I have no trouble to recommend it!!!

Deeply disappointed. Though tony and his wife are very friendly, pictures and ratings in hostel world is a scam. 1. No hot water 3. WiFi unusable 4. Tap water is saline with weird smell 5. Water flood the bathroom when you bath 6. Totally no sound proof 7. No basic utilities eg. Rubbish bin, hooks, soap 8. Large cockroaches 9. Towels with stain 10. Blanket is just a thin bedsheet 11. Dangerous overhanging cables We usually have huge tolerance but everyday in the room is suffering.

Don't book here. Tony's wife insisted that we pay for our two nights immediately not even allowing us to see the room first or even put down our bags. After paying, we were finally granted access to our room and understood why we were made to pay up front --- had we seen it, we never would have stayed here. The smell was awful, the walls were moldy, the AC did not work, garbage was accumulated under one of the beds and to top it off there were cockroaches. We ran away after our first night.

I LOVE TONY AND EVERYTHING ABOUT HIS PLACE. Stay here if you can. Best experience ever and really near to the famous black sand beach and everything you'd need. Great man. Thanks again Tony!

Good location if you want to stay at perissa. Close to Bus stop €2.2 to Fira. Unfortunitely the mini fridge didn't work, no kettle in the room and wifi was dodgy as it only connected outside and not very often (apparently this is common in Santorini). We were disappointed when we voiced our concerns shortly after check in with the issues to Tony's wife, and she wasn't helpful and made us feel uneasy asking her questions, tony however we met later that evening and was lovely and very helpful.

Tony’s Art Villa exceeded our expectations; Tony and his family are kind, warm, and accommodating, and went above and beyond. The place itself is lovely and covered with Tony’s beautiful artwork. The location is very close to Perissa Beach and many places to rent bikes, catch buses. And get good treats at the bakery (yes, there is a 24 hour bakery a 3 minute stroll away!)

A great family owned and run hotel. The total Greek experience, and literally a 60 second walk to the beach and heart of everything. Nice Bakery and Restaurants near by. Love all the art work at the hotel as well.
