I had a bad experience with this hostel because they don't work within the framework of the hostelworld reservation system. I confirmed a 3 day booking and they responded with an email to say that only one night was available. I told them that would not work, and asked for my deposit back, but they said they could return it if I came to their hostel for themoney, which would have cost me as much as the refund itself. I don't know what the hostel is like but I am very unhappy with them.

It's a very nice place with clean comfortable beds, but not really hostel, rather than a B&B, mainly for Chilean families. Hence, the atmosphere is rather boring.

A great hostel (or better bed&breakfast). It is little bit hard to find, but the rooms are nice and clean.

The hostel was clean, nice, peaceful and helpful when it came to finding THE things to do in Castro. I would highly recommend this hostel.

The owner had excellent recommendations for food and where to go during the day. If we had stayed longer and wanted to be more outdoorsy, he also could have taken us kayaking or to Parque Nacional Chiloe. It was a great place for the price! Delicious breakfast which included fresh juice/smoothies and Colombian coffee, comfy and generally quiet rooms, and very clean bathrooms.
