Nice place but they didn't check their bookings and gave our room to someone else. Big disappointment but they put us in a dorm instead. Call to confirm your booking.

very nice hostel, a little hard to find, but good location right in the center of town, lots of games, TV, and a nice kitchen.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in in the UK and I've stayed at many over the years. The proprietor was particularly helpful and friendly, and the place had a really homely feel to it, made by the choice of soft furnishings. We had a great time. Many, many thanks

The staff presence was non-existent. No staff at the hostel when we arrived - granted they called us to inform us they would not be there but this was due to them 'wanting to get out of the place' rather than any emergency or unplanned event. There did not seem to be a reception to direct questions to and tennants seemed to be left to their own devices. This was also the first hostel we have stayed in without a computer or any internet access (we have stayed at dozens of hostels worldwide)..

Very clean! More like a B & B for accommodation. When I stayed there were only 2 other people in the hostel. Although it was really nice to have my own room- it was a bit lonely at times and really quiet. Some people will appreciate that- I however would have enjoyed some traveling company. The hostel overall is one of the nicest I've ever seen and it's located within the city walls just around the corner from the castle. No Wifi, bu the library down the road is unlimited & free!

Good location but parking is a bit of walk. Very small head room between the bunk beds, got knocked on several times. We stayed in ensuite mixed room for 6; bathroom is shared male+female and shower is closed by curtain only, doors would be better i think. Overall value for money.

I gave this place the highest ratings possible it observes the highest standards possible. The owners are right there doing most of the work and their hearts are in it. Staying there is like visiting family. In short, I highly recommend it.

The hostel was lovely, although extremely hard to find when arriving after dark. There were no signs outside except for a little review or something taped to the window, I walked right by it a few times before realizing it was not a residential house. It was quite frustrating.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. We booked the private room on the top floor, and we like that room very much! The location is just by the seashore, very beautiful! The only short coming is the breakfast, which is a bit simple. However, the room itself is so lovely. I will definitely recommend this hostel!

Totters was a lovely hostel right next to the walls of caernarfen. It was very clean and tidy, had a good choice of games and books aswell as a tv with freeview and a couple of dvds. Breakfast and drinks are included in the modest price and the kitchen is well stocked with all you need if you are cooking your own meal. All in all a fantastic place to stay and I will be staying here again.
