Kind of noisy location. The hostel itself was not noisy, but is it on a busy road and lots of buses frequent the property next door.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served some delicious Chinese food at reasonable prices, but the location, though in a wooded area very near West Lake, almost ruined the whole experience, because the very busy road right outside the hostel is absolutely choked with obnoxious tourist buses and other traffic. You cannot enjoy a beer or meal on their front terrace simply because of all the f***ing traffic! The nearby West Lake Youth Hostel is much quieter.

For the price you pay, this is a great hostel. The food is delicious. Cheap bike rental. Wi-fi was quick and best of all are the staff, a great bunch of lads.

the rooms were dark and always wet. the bathroom was always flooded because the drain for the water wasnt working and there was no showercurtain. the matrasses were very hard and old. there were no lights near the beds, only one big light in the middle of the room.

I can see they\'re trying to build a back-packer atomasphere. But still you need to work harder on it. The location isn\'t quite close to the lake, you need to biking onto a mountain which requires a bit work. But the staff is very nice there, they gave a few suggestions about where to go to eat and to see around. I hope they could get better and better in the future and look forward to visiting again.

Not only the lake, but also the staff of Touran made the trip to Hangzhou a great one. Good help from really friendly people, who also provide for a very nice atmosphere!

It was my second time staying here at Touran in Hangzhou, and coming back here after I finished my entire Jiangnan trip just felt like coming back to home. I was treated like a friend rather than a guest. If you are looking for a place where you are treated like a friend during your stay, look no further. I especially miss the final night where we had really great chats and laughter! ^^

It's really hard to buy tickets and arrange tour in China for a foreigner, and most ot the infomation in English on the website are really out-dated. Thank you so much for the staff helping me arrange all the stuff perfectly.
