the hostel is great with helpful and friendly staff, they even went out of their way to help me book my hostel in Shanghai, would definitely stay here next time.

The staff spoke no english at all. A ramdom guets had to help us without her, we could not have booked a room. The booking did not match the reservation at hostelworld, and there were mold in the walls, especially in the dorm, which we moved from. We strongly considered to move to antother hostel. They had no maps of the area in english - only chinese, andd enen thouhg the ad om hostelworld had said, they have bikerental, they only have one bike. They did not empty the trash in 4 days we asked.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Touran for 4 nights...although a little far from the action...the staff, food, character and warmth of Touran more than compensated..the cook makes wonderful food off the menu..the American breakfast was really American...as a Canadian far from home...i felt like i was home..i will definitely stay there again...a big thank you to Harry, Boss, Kiki, Joan, the Cook..and Max (the puppy)and all the other wonderful staff at Touran. see you soon. karen

It such a cute little place and the staff are super nice and some speak pretty good english. It's a little far from the lake but otherwise totally worth a stay. They even have computers and internet available.
