Friendly and helpful staff. They let me keep some bags in their luggage room for some more days although I didn't stay at the hostel these days. Cold in the 6 ppl dorm during winter which is usual in China. Ask for an extra blanket.

24-hour hot water is very convenient for us. We don't have to worry about coming back to the hostel at late night.

Great friendly welcome when we arrived , really helpful staff. Location was great for exploring the West Lake just a short walk away from the hostel. Food and drinks all reasonably priced :) One of guys on reception was super friendly and had the written directions for the train station ready for us when we checked out - before we even had to ask for them! had everything a hostel should offer.

The location was cracking, we were right on West Lake and a bus ride away from the old street. Our only problem was not realiing how to get htere, as from the south reailway station its a couple of changes of the bus. Cant fault the hostel obvs.

I was very disappointed by this hostel. Facilities are horrible (one shower on the bottom floor randomly by the kitchen), rooms are uncomfortable (super crowded), staff was unfriendly (EXCEPT for wonderful Candice--awesome), and they leave visitors outside late at night because no one is there to let them in... However, location isn't bad.

Pretty good place. A 15 minute walk to the north tip of West Lake. There was construction going on at the time which began at 0700 sharp, but that might be finished now. We did come back late one evening (morning), at 3 AM, and the doors were padlocked. We knocked and yelled for 45 minutes but no one woke up. Finally one of the other travelers came to the door but couldn't find the key. She finally woke up one of the workers who let us in. That was kind of crappy...

A very friendly atmosphere, with a very helpful staff. A place I would recommend to my friends. The friendly dog was a bonus. keep up the good work guys
