There is nothing to say, I never had the key for room. The rate is cheap, but I'll try to find other hostel next.

The kitchen was a little bit dirty but that was the only thing bad.

The staff were lovely when they were around - they need badly to hire some more! We were in a separate building, which is okay, but inconvenient for using some of the facilities - such as the kitchen. The kitchen was not particularly clean. There was a bad atmosphere in shared areas, but this was largely due to some inconsiderate fellow guests. A stronger staff presence would make this less likely. But it is cheap accommodation in Florence, so we were happy enough with it.

What a bad place. As soon as we arrive the person in charge was trying to make the heater to work properly on our room. We went on december (pretty cold time) and the heater never worked properly. Towels were not included (anyway, it was so cold and the heater on the bathroom DIDN'T work at all that we couldn't take a shower). The common areas of course didn't have heater as well. Florence was amazing but unfortunately this place was awful.

Hostel was not kept clean. It does have a kitchen which is great but it was filthy a lot of the time. Bathrooms were reasonably clean. . Staff were not there all the time, again not very helpful with information on the city where to go to eat, etc. There was another group staying there that had been there for three months, studying and living in Florence. They were rude and stayed up all night playing loud music and talking.

Tourist House Santa Croce was perfect for us. We were traveling as a 3 and the room was fantastic. is was a split level room with a loft. the room was great in size and the staff assisting us was very friendly. The kitchen was large but a little dirty, however it had everything that you need. It is quite far from the main train station especially if you have a lot of luggage so check out the public transport or a taxi.

We were quite unsatisfied and mislead. There was no wireless in our room, no towels for hire, no wireless ( we stayed in the other building without asking to).. There was no garbae can and the room was under construction (holes, extra closet doors..) overall we felt annoyed that we were mislead. The room was hot pink.. Yikes. If you stay here, be assertive to the staff before paying upfront.

it's possible to find a better accomodation for just few euro more. Only the location is amazing

We were staying in a new unfinished room but it was nice and clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was newly fitted and kind of impressive with a big shower cubicle with different jet combinations and a radio. The staff were friendly and helpful and easy going. Good place to stay, close to the main sites and good value.

Overall, I was disappointed with our stay at this hostel. We booked a 4 bed dorm room and when we arrived, we were taken to a room with 7 beds (including a double bed and 3 roll out beds). When we questioned how many people were going to stay, the staff member was rather rude and abrupt and she advised she didn't know as she was just helping. We ended up sharing the room with 7 people which resulted in a very cramped room. The location was fair but extremely noisy resulting in very limited sleep

Great location! Very noisy at night, which did not bother me personally, but may be a problem for some people. Family-like atmosphere, felt like staying at a friend's appartement or dorm. We had a private bathroom option, but as it turned out it did not include a shower, which was a little disappointing. However there were several showers in the hallway and they were reasonably clean and always available. Overall, the place was friendly, fairly clean and in a great location!

Didn't have a good vibe I got bitten by bedbugs!!

In quite a noisy area but good value and a good location!

Special hostel, I recommend it for fun loving people, great location for having fun but not for having a good sleep.:)

Kitchen is ok. Very noisy, but if you have earplugs its ok. Close to all the bars and clubs

It wasn't a bad stay by any means. Great location, noise from outside didn't bother me at all. It was clearly stated that location was in the center of town, so noise was expected. Everything was in pretty decent condition. However, it was not what I paid for, pictures on the site were not accurate to what was provided. I paid for a 5man private room and got a 4man room with no personal bathroom. We had to squeeze in a 5th bed which was actually pretty funny to me.

its in the center of town so you can walk everywhere from the hostel. we stayed 4 peopled room so our room was next to street and there were noise all the time we couldnt sleep because of the traffic along the day and the bars in the evening. also one of the bathrooms was very dirty like its not cleaning like months, different types of hairs i saw.

Could use some lockers, don't like the idea of sharing a room with strangers and no lockers. Kitchen is great and so is the common room!

Great Hostel! the staff guy was very nice, very near form the main points of the city, right between the two main churches and the south part of the city. highly recommended
