This was a sketch hostel. When we got there we didn't get keys because people hadn't returned them when they stayed there. The doors didn't lock, no lockers, no safe storage. We booked a 6 bed mixed and found a room with 5 beds on the floor and two in an attic, balcony where we were (making it 7 beds). The railing up there had fallen out of the wall and wasn't safe. We were given dirty sheets and the bathrooms were horrid and there was no toilet paper. I would not stay there every again!
Nice place for a short stay and good value for money though dont forget your ear buds as the street remains noisy throughout the night!!

Great location close to everything but extremely noisy streets for all rooms. Ear plugs are a must. Hostel NEEDS a MICROWAVE. Mid-September I got a safe-locker but there could be too few of them. Need a soap dish or caddy in one of showers as there is nothing at all. Need power boards in rooms. In mine was only one power point for 3 people. Staff are elusive. They usually not at reception. One has to call them so get yourself a WIND SIM card (option Fresh gives 120 min + unlimited data).
It was a perfect hostel. Location is perfect everywhere is close to hostel. They have really kind staff.
It's quite a small, quiet hostel but theres enough people around to find some entertainment. However, the main issue is dealing with reception. Firstly, the place is difficult to find - the only indication it existed was a scrap of paper on the buzzer. A sign would be really useful. Secondly, the reception is only open at random times: we met someone who got stuck outside the hostel because no one was there to check him in. Make sure you arrange a time to pick up the keys or you might be stuck!
Loved the private apartment in the city center and walking distance to the train station. Most of the sites were nearby.. It was a bit noisy at times, but the earplugs allowed me to sleep well. Shower curtain was a bit dirty and needed replacing, however, great for the money.

Right in the centre of Florence so easy walking to all the main sites. The hostel itself is good, kitchen slightly grubby but still able to cook and eat there fine! All other facilities were good and very secure. Would recommend.
