Tourist House Santa Croce Reviews

We couldn't check in all day because the man working there wasn't present, but I heard his wife gave birth the night before so I can't completely blame him. Once he did show he had to prep the room and it took a while.

They were excellent. We felt like we had a lot of space and were very comfortable in Santa Croce. Not too far from the Duomo and center of the city. The hostel had a lot of character and was pretty clean. I really enjoyed this stay and felt very safe.

Just so you know, your bed will be almost touching the beds on either side of you. They aren't bunk beds, you will be right next to strangers. Better hope they don't snore.

Very familiar atmosphere, great place to meet people and hang out. Perfect location, good facilites.

the location is good, but florence is very small. The internet is bad, does not work in the rooms, the bathrooms are a little dirty. The staff often are not, but are very friendly. It's pretty cheap, but I think you will find something better with similar price.

This is more like living in someone's home than a hostel. Not very social and we sometimes felt like we were intruding on the people who lived there permanently. However, the location was excellent and security was good. It was really cold, but good value for your money.

No reception, broken heat = no showers, messy hostel. But what would you expect for 10€
