Julie was very helpful on the phone for us when our flight reservations had changed, then we bought her flowers

I had fun staying here and met some great people. The hostel itself is pretty cool - it´s got a pool and a bar with fairy lights. That said, it´s a shame that it´s not cleaner, the bathroom in my room was pretty dirty. There´s also no soap anywhere, so you can´t wash your hands properly. I´m also fairly certain that I got flea bites from the animals. The hostel is close to the market which is good but actually quite far from all of the beaches, which is bad. I´d try somewhere else next time.

This place is off the richter. The atmosphere is amazing, I don't know what these other reviews are talking about. Steve is a legend and will do what ever it takes to show you a good time. Location is about a 2 minute taxi ride from town, nearby beach. Totally chilled out.

It felt like home when I was growing up! (I have four brothers and three sisters.) The location was perfect for us, as we had small children with us.

I haven't seen so many hostels with pool, for me the pool is great option since you have to walk a little bit to reach the closest beach. The environment is relax and in the night the bar is open, is nice that you don't have to pay at the moment you ask for your drinks, they take note and you pay later. Sometimes the shared bathroom is not enough for the people.

Best hostel experience in Mexico. Staff and especially the owners (Hi Chris!!) love a chat and a beer. They put on drinks, pizza and band for xmas eve, and drove several ppl to hospital for illness. stayed an extra 3 days and would not think of staying elsewhere if i return. great stuff from Aussie Andy

The hostel was great and very laid back. I don't really understand some of the complaints... Steve, Chris and Garry made it extremely pleasant, asking you about ideas for the bar, telling you funny stories, really good guys! It is more of a hippie atmosphere rather than a "no fun but functional". Great place to meet people, the staff knows very well the area and tell you everything when you come in. I was meant to stay 2 nights ended up staying 5, went diving, really good! Cheers from Chile guy!

The staff were all pretty cool, The place definitely could of been a little cleaner, it wasn't a pig sty but it certainly didn´t feel clean, i thought it was a little rich asking for us to tip the cleaner. The location is average, pretty far away from most things but taxis are cheap.

Tower Bridge Hostel is Amazing! I was planning to stay here for two nights only and ended up staying for four nights because the staff and all of the people staying there at the time were amazing! As soon as I arrived they made me feel like at home. The atmostphere at this place is really awesome! Good times with everyon The location is great because it is less than 15 minute walk from Playa Carrizalillo...one of the nicest beaches to swim and chill. It is also close to Mercado Juarez!. Cheers!

This hostel was fantastic, very easy going the guys looked after us massively they knew all the places to go and were very knowledgable of not only Puerto Escondido but much of central america which was great for us. Atsmosphere was very chilled and the hostel is very close to Carasillo which is a beautiful little beach, but everything is a very cheap and easy taxi ride (25 pesos) away from here. Highly recommend this place to anyone

Tower Bridge Hostel is one of the better hostels i have ever stayed in due to it's wonderful character, great staff, super pool and relaxed and friendly environment. Whether you are relaxing my the pool with friends/travellers, sitting chatting to the wonderful staff (shout out to Tabatha and Juliette), or beating Steve time after time on his own pool table, Tower Bridge is the place to be. Be there or be square. Peace!

This hostel was an absolute blast! Not only was it one of the cheapest in Puerto Escondido but it was also a short walk to the best beach in town. The rooms are huge, the pool is great, the atmosphere is really hard to beat and the owner just wants everybody to have a great time. We would recommend it to any backpacker who wants a good time on a tight budget.

Think, "We all live in a yellow submarine...", only the submarine is a ripe papaya - with coconut trees, thatched roofs, a blue pool (with a cute little bridge over it), colorful hammocks, an airy shared kitchen, lovely tile work, generous rooms, comfy-cloud couches,& POP-music ART so around you its even "dancing on the ceiling"(!); & you have a bit of an idea of how surreal & tropical dream-like this place is! The hostesses were friendly, helpful,& great with giving directions& beach advice 2!
