Close to the prettiest beach in Puerto (Carrazilillo), good for surf lessons. Hostel could be cleaner, esp. the bathroom (women's) and pool. Staff was pretty cool, though they aired work and personal issues in front of everyone, which was awkward.

Love this place! Ignore the initial chaos when you arrive and embrace the mad world that is Tower Bridge. I'm travelling on my own and couldn't have asked for a better common area, instantly felt at home, totally safe and made some amazing friends (12 of came together for a BBQ) No other hostel has made me feel so relaxed and comfortable the hardest part is leaving. Big hats off to Jessie the barman, excellent cocktails, he's the reason we stayed an extra night!! Wish I could have stayed longer.

This place is awesome! The best cocktails ever, Jesse is a legend. Great pool, chill vibe, cool people, We want to live here. Also, Mary at the front desk helped us out so much, thx Mary. If it weren't for the owner's crazy brother and his annoying Canadian friend, this place would be paradise. If they try to talk to you, trust me RUN!!! The bar is very very cool, I just wish it was open a bit later. They close at midnight. Overall the best hostel I've stayed at though, you will love it.

A good hostel, with a great pool and an amazing bar with yummy cocktails! Not really any hot water though and there was a problem with the light turning off every time we showered so we had to shower in the dark. Also the beach is sort of far away but okay if its not too hot to walk or if you get a taxi. Over all, quite good.

We freakin' love this place! We booked in for 3 nights and ended up staying for 8. The guys who run it are really cool and the whole place is perfect for relaxing by yourself and/or making new friends at the supremely awesome bar; Jesse is a master cocktail maker – make sure you try his cucumber margaritas. We got bungalow No.4 and couldn't believe how much space we got for our moneyI It's hands down the best place we've stayed in for 6 months. Also the perfect pool is an awesome bonus.

The beds were not very comfortable and the open floor plan did not allow much privacy between our rooms, but other than that our stay was perfect! the room was large and the whole place was very laid back. The bar literally made the best drinks i have ever had so far in my 4 months of travels in mexico. the bartenders as well as the rest of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the communal areas were great. will definitely go back.

I start looking at the net for accomodation like u r right now, but i found a lot much more in this hostal, the location is ideal near the best beach on p.escondido coral, 10 min to the airport, 10 min to center town. My girlfriend and i reserved the private twin deluxe and it was awsome, like an appartment just for the two of us, and everybody tryes to call you by your name.the bar is the best one from miles away and is very very clean, the pool is cool, ill love to come back, love it.great time

The chill out area is very nice! We recommend you to try the \"fucking fries\" and the mojitos by Frenchie and the Gringo! The staff only speaks English, so practise your British Accent! Our room (three people) was large with a nice balcony and a clean bathroom. There are hammocks everywhere, it\'s a nice place to stay!

Mary was great but she had only been there for a couple of days. The owner didn't make you feel welcome. More like a commodity. You can't see the ocean from the hostel - it's opposite a bus parking-station. It's a long walk to the beach and there really isn't a lot around the hostel. The cleanliness of the room we stayed in was good and good value but in the rest of the hostel and the dorms the cleanliness isn't a strong point. So, whilst there is a kitchen, I didn't feel like using it.

ONLY one combination of shower and toilet for 11 men's dormitory bed. Expect to wait until someone done with shower or using toilet.. Internet is free BUT they have only ONE computer, which is on the desk, and you can use it only when Owner is not there, he usually goes in and out the hostel all day. I had to use Internet Cafe so often, thus paying $$. Steve is very hospitable and helpful. Great hostel and I recommend this one for your Puerto Escondido visit!

Meant to stay for one day, but ended up staying a week. Steve is a character and Jesse and Alex behind the bar are legends. Good Times People. Good Times Jamie UK.

100% for a reason! Firstly, the bar: Alex and Jesse are running the coolest hostel bar in the biz - poolside with super cheap drinks and food, killer cocktails and drinking games galore. You might as well stay here for that if nothing else. Steve the owner is also great, he managed to sort me out with the necessary medical attention when I got food poisoning which was amazing. It hasa lively vibe, close to the best beaches in Puerto, great facilities & a safe and top place to make new mates.

Wow, what a great place to chill out! We ended up staying many nights more than planned...You have to try Alexis explosive guacomole and Jesse´s awesome cocktails. This paradise place with pool and hammocks turns into the best bar in town at night! We would definately reccommend this spot to anyone wanting to chill out and party, personally i cannot wait to go there again. xxxx
