tower hostel is so nice and comfortable. i like there so much. hostel's owners are very friendly and cheerful and very very polite :) :) if i go to sarajevo again, i will stay tower hostel !

This hostel had some very strange rules, such as locking guests out between the hours of 11am and 5pm, meaning you could not return to your room for anything. Even when one of us was sick they made a big deal about letting us in to use the room, even though we have paid for it. They were friendly, but the rooms were never cleaned and the bins over flowing before anything was done. Probably would not stay here again. They did offer a airport drop off/pick up service but you need a phone.

Our microsite clearly states that we DO have a LOCK-OUT. If something is new to you it does not mean that it is "strange" or unusual. You actually did not pay for the stay in the hostel during lock-out, and it was our act of good will to let you in and postpone or cancel our daily obligations. Prices are low in our hostel, but you have to take some limitations in account. It is not OK that you say that you were sick in order to make us look bad. Bathrooms were cleaned every day, and bins got emptied twice a day, but we are not responsible if guests in meantime leave a lot of rubbish. You pay approx. 8 euros for the hostel per night and expect us to clean after you every day in your room ???

The location is good - a little difficult to find. Make use of the free pick-up if possible. The hostel doesn't look like a hostel.... it doesn't have a sign or anything. We just had to turn up and keep ringing the doorbell until someone came to get us. We weren't even sure it was the right place/a hostel. There is lock out from 11 until 5pm. The water in the showers was cold. The room was ICE COLD. We couldn't sleep AT ALL because we were SO FREEZING and because the room had no door & was noisy

The water in showers was not cold but only lasts for about 3 to 5 minutes, and after that you need to wait for half hour to get warm again. We lower our night heating a bit, but always stay between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, which is enough for comfortable sleep. It was not ice cold as you claim, but you were maybe sick so it was ice cold for you. Nobody else ever complained, except for us to actually lower the heating further. Hostel is not noisy, and you do not tell the truth. If you expect to have silence like in a desert, no hostel can provide you that. As concerning your room, you had a choice to choose, but chose upper level with doors on lower floor, and you could choose any other room, but you wanted to stay in a dorm without other people around. It is not fair to complain about something you could have easily changed.
