Bad location. No permanent reception. Cheap, but I would pay a tad extra for a better place

Best place to stay in Sarajevo for sure: very clean, spacious rooms, free parking in the yard and very helpfull staff. It was heavenly to relax and to have a good shower after hours of driving. They gave us a map of the city, told the story of the town and also showed us the main interest points to visit. We only stayed for a night, but enjoyed to the full and if we will be back in Sarajevo for sure we'll stay at Tower Hostel again!

i spent 5 veeeeeery nice nights at this hostel!! the beds are super comfortable, the views out of the roof window amazing! i found it very clean and everything is new. okay you don't have any breakfast or internet,but for the price it was awesome... it is not exactly located in the very heart of the city but it is also a good thing to go up a bit to the hill, the views are impressive and it allows you to get a bit deeper in a different part of sarajevo, upper, interesting streets...

Ok, yes we didn't read the description in detail (they don't allow men in a 2-bed room). But offering us an equivalent alternative for the double price and neglecting our reservation is not the finest way. However, we decided to do camping in their backyard for one night....which was ok for camping, but not for hosteling.

Overall, I think this hostel is a good deal. It's location is perfect, even if it's on top of the hill (amazing views!). It's super easy to get there, and in less than 5 minutes you can be in the main touristic center of Sarajevo. The staff were fine and helpful, and the place was clean. It's definitely not a party hostel or somewhere where it's easy to meet other travelers, but I think it's a great deal, especially for couples.
