Wonderful friendly owners. Very good value for money.

The couple who runs this hostel are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They're super helpful and you feel more like their house guest than a hostel customer. Their free breakfast is da bomb. The only suggestion I would have for them (being nit picky) is to put a shower rack/more hooks in the shower stalls to hang your stuff on. The building is also in a developing area that is a bit of a walk from downtown, but it's an interesting area to walk through/people watch/visit monastery goings-ons.

Excellent stay with superb service!

The location is near the monastery, but in a old block. This is the only minus of the hostel, but it is not very important... The hostel was very goog indeed, all new and with good showers and kitchen. Staff was super kind and made a big breakfast (not the average bread and jam that all ulan bator hostels offer).

Super basic facilities but everything you need. It felt a little awkward cooking in their kitchen at first, but I don't think they mind much, plus you'll spend pore money in the grocery store than going to a cheap restrung. Nothing to complain about. Low key vibes and not too far from the center. Gan (owner) and his family are very welcoming. Breakfast is frickin tight. Not a party hostels, but idk the UB standard anyway.
