Hostel is good, but the staff is just ... absent most of the time ! maybe because it was off season. Still very weird. I saw so maybe people come . wait for anyone to check them in and leave ... i believe that if you didn't book in advance, they just don't show up ever. Still a nice stay if you don't need staff, the dorms are wide. On the week end, music for the bar across the street is very loud ( for soft sleepers .. ) until very late.
Average hostel, decent value for the money. Dorm bed comfort was so so and there was a persistent strong smell that we couldn't get rid of. Few people around, but it was the low season. The manager did a great job in helping us out through the stay, esp. when we has to leave at 4 o'clock in the morning to catch our flight, he was there to make sure we would catch our taxi even thought he's basically managing the place on his own 24/7. Hostel: average to poor Manager: very good.
Surprisingly very good value for the budget.Didn't expect such a very low price I paid I get free breakfast, clean room and hot shower, room with aircond and window.Totally recommended!
Very good value for money.3 nights stay at the private room with aircond and window only for MYR 110,when a night stay only for MYR 45 !And free breakfast and wi-fi is included!!! The place also clean and situated in the middle of the city, near to tourist office and many attraction like museum and the water front. Absolutely very recommended!

Kitchen Is useful and central location. No lockers, beds very uncomfortable, I was the only person staying for 2 of my 3 nights so difficult to meet people if your travelling alone.
