Excellent location and very friendly staff. The only downside are the cold showers.

Booked here for two nights-regretted the first day we came! Was in room with 3 beds, & balcony looked out to the main streets - gets noisy at night with cars & rumbling of trains. Bed sheets/blankets haven't been washed. Room was in poorly kept condition, & ensuite bathroom was dirty, shower had poor pressure. Breakfast okay-was served raw egg at one pt. Wifi signal poor in room, good in common area. One staff was friendly, the rest were not welcoming. Don't cheap out, and find another hostel.

I stayed here for a night, because it was the best priced hostel I could find it Alexandria. The room was very nice and spacious, and had a balcony with an amazing view of the Mediterranean. It was more like a hotel room than a hostel, so very good for the money. The only problem was the cleanliness and water pressure in the bathroom. But overall, I'd recommend this place on view, room, and value. Overall, very nice hostel.

The hostel is conveniently located downtown just off the corniche near many cafes and restaurants. However, it is also right next to the metro rail which can be quite loud at night. The staff was friendly, but spoke limited English, so knowing some Arabic is helpful. The rooms were clean enough, but there was a bit of dust buildup on ceiling fans, etc. and the bathrooms had unreliable water pressure. Overall, with breakfast and wi-fi included, this hostel was a good deal despite a few flaws.
